Good morning Sunshine!

Not too good a day here, not too good a weekend really.  But will attack back starting Monday.

Had hoagies all three days, that is the food of choice lately to take to the Ballpark.  But, I eat no more that 2/3 of one per day.  Omelet for breakfast Saturday, Sunday was a Sonic Jr Breakfast Burrito.

Snacked on peanuts (at the Ballgame), some Goldfish Grahams.  Had a bowl of NSA ice cream both days.  It really did not settle too good with me, hope it was just that type and will not be all NSA ice cream.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Hiya George,I too hope the NSA ice cream can stay in your life. I do not eat it often, but I do like to add it to my shakes now and again. I guess I am missing something, because your food looks good for maintainance!
I ate 3 quarters of a sandwich the other day, whole wheat/grain bread, and chock full of cheese and roast beef, quite hearty! It was 2 meals, because I try to eat 4-6 meals a day.
It is so strange for me to be maintaining,it is truly a horse of a different color. I like to be out of the box with my food,it is scary, but I do not want to live my life with a diet mentality.
You and your family are being remembered in my prayers.
Hugs!

Thank you for the prayers.

As far as my food goes, I have always been my toughest critic.  I guess that way nothing that anyone says to me hurts me.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

It is so hot here that if I even try to put a little glamor on my face, it all melts off before I even get in the car.  At least, I have been out in the sun enough to have a nice bit of color to my face and neck and arms.  My little grands did not inherit my complexion.  They are light and burn like crazy so we have to keep them covered in sun screen.  My daughter is like me, tans easily and keeps a little tan all year but her kids...we guess they got all that whiteness from their daddy.

Today:

B:  banana, cheese

S: boiled egg

L: chicken

S: cheese

D: osyter soup

I may eat some chips.  We bought some of those sun dried chips and they are setting there unopened.  I may have ten of those some time today.

You guys have a good day and eat healthy, drink plenty, and move those butts.

Jeannie, you are doing so much better,I am happy for you!
The Sun Chips are ok,but too much salt for me. Olivia loves them.
I hope your day is great, and I will try to move my butt...LOL!

I do so much better if I am held accountable for my eating. LOL.  It's like, if I write it down, I know I will do it.  Plus, writting it down is planning it and that planning it makes me have to think about it and do it.  If I don't write it to you guys, then I won't think about food and then when lunch comes, I'll just grab a banana cz it's easier. Plus, I feel like by posting what we eat, we are helping each other.  Like, for instance, you gave me the idea to eat lunch meat.  Why did I forget about lunchmeat?  LOL.

Well, the grands left and are heading home with their mother.  I won't see them for three weeks because of my busy schedule.  My daughter, who is a little bit of a label ***** like her mom, said, Mom, let me borrow that coach bag.  I said, not on my life.  She said, I'll bring it back.  Yeah right. Then she said, make sure you write in your will that I get the jewels and the bags.  She foregoes the shoes since she wears like an eleven and I wear like a five. LOL.

Kids say the darndest things.

LOL! You're daughter and I have big feet,so we can always keep our balance!!
I have 2 couch bags, one black, the other like a rust color. I have not used them in years,as I am in a uncivilized state now!
I agree about the food, that is what brought me to this forum,I knew I could not do it alone. OA taught me I had to commit, and it is the best favor I have done for myself.
Indeed! I forget about certain foods, and then I get a mental  nudge,it is great.
I like the 2nd part of this forum, where we can vent,on a personal level,if I do not clear issues in my life,I will be drawn to the wrong food, like a moth to a flame.
We help each other so much!
Thanks for being here!
