Just Checking In....
Hello everyone. I've not had but a minute to myself for more than 3 weeks so have alot of catching up to do on this site. I have had continuous company since June 10th. One batch leaves after staying 9 days, then I have 2-3 days to regroup and buy more groceries and clean the house, then another batch comes. WHEW!!! I'm exhausted and a bit testy, to say the least! LOL
Company is like FISH.....After just a few days they start to smell !! LOL. I love family and friends but enough is enough. The good part though is that I have been so busy cooking and entertaining everyone that I have lost more weight and am only 2 pounds from the surgeon's goal.
I hope when I have a free moment when all are gone,(Thursday for sure) I can read all the threads and find out what's been happening with all of you. I feel cheated when I can't read or post . I guess I need some "SANDY TIME".

It is so good to see you, Sandy. I have missed your upbeat and loving posts.
I just hope that you take time for you...that is so important. I guess you must be doing something right since you lost a couple of pounds...heck I should maybe tell people to come over and stay. The problem with that is I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and no one is getting my bed!!!! ha ha

I hope your family and friends chipped in on food and cleaning.
As my dad used to say when we used to visit our family in the south:
"You always throw something into the pot"! I can remember them doing laundry in my grandma's old fashioned wringer washing machine. We ladies had fun hanging them on the line.
If your people did not help,I would check and see if you have "Hotel Sandy",on your forehead.
