Sunshine!  Are you getting ready for another surgery?

Iron - I do nothing.  My iron levels have been fine.  Part of being a man, I guess.

Food:

B- Omelet
L - Quesedilla
S - Terryaki Chicken and Rice

Snacks - 2 yogurts.  1/2 bag of popcorn.  Nothing else.  I was a good boy.

My weight has gone up to 217, got to nip it in the bud now.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

When I was a kid, I was anemic and had to take liquid iron.  Talk about gross.  Ugh.  Then I started eating liver just so I did not have to take the iron.  Ugh again.  Now I like liver.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Yuck, hadda do liquid iron through both pregnancies.
I used to like liver, then I turned off to it,after craving it when I was pregnant with my son. I gotta a liverwurst sandwich from the deli everyday, with onion....hmmmm...I am thinking spinach,it worked for Popeye!

Isn't it wonderful to feel in control.  I can't wait to be there.  I'm still in the all confused stage.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

LOL,pineview, with this surgery or with lap band,we are all on the same road, although we use different vehicles.
Sometimes I imagine our community is making a huge patch quilt we add patches of information, piece them together, and become more informed, and for many of us,more empathetic.
It is better than a few years back when it was more like the blind leading the blind.
Jean comes here and uses the lapband board too,as someone once told me,there is nothing wrong with being bi-forum!

Hi, pineview.

Hope you are beginning a brand new day with hope.  It is my expereince of about 10 months that this feeling of "control" doesn't happen for very long at a time.  It is really a minute by minute thing.  Choices are always there.  Do we exercise or not?  Do we drink water or not?  Do we plan our meals and snacks or not? To we post on the boards or not?

I doubt I will ever do it perfectly!  But for now, I am making good choices.  I did the 30 minutes of treadmill.  I will have a protein shake for breakfast and drink water this morning until I have a yogurt about 10 and that is the way the day will break down.  The main thing is DON"T GIVE UP.  I sometimes tend to do that and get all bogged down.

It does work but it takes perscverance.
