Way OT: I need to rant

and this is not something for the rant and rave board....

some of you have been around long enough to know what has happened with our neighbor across the street- the one we have a restraining order against- it expires tomorrow. the one who tried to run michael dwon with his car while i was in Pittsburgh with the sistas...the one who cut our tree the one who whacked our 4 -20 ft cedars--the one who we believe was stealing our yard sale signs a few weeks ago while carla was here....

today we pull in the driveway after i get off work---and there is a hang tag from the dog warden- in the county for which i work--"please call the office"--evidently mr d has written a letter- i didn't know he knew how to write- ok- sorry! he complained that on june 3rd brody broke thru a screen and got out of the house and on july 1st he was up in the front yard by the sidewalk- not on a leash- bull pucky...july 1st michael was so busy trying to get stuff done for our trip and then we ended up in the ER--the poor dogs, if anything ,were neglected in the house!!!!

of course my dog has never broken thru a screen in this house and we have lived here since 2004--brody has only lived here since election day in november---yes the dogs are licensed- they use an overhead run in the back yard specifically becuz of mr d.......and i told her about roxiethewonderdog how she gets loose and how afraid i am for her when it happens....

etc blah...now- the kicker- june 3rd--- where was brody???? was anyone payin attention??? it took me almost a half hour before my lite bulb went on!!!!!   brody was in a whole friggin different county(31.3 miles away - i clocked it the other day)  vacationing with roxie in a very dog friendly house with a fenced yard.....while we were in Panama.
this of course blew his credibility just a teensy hair!!!!!our tax dollars at work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so- this deputy has to check on this- doing her job--she happens to be the same one who came in 2005 when my (deputy sheriff) mother was here with her rott ,dolly--and the charges were false then-- so she spoke with the warden and wrote her report which you had better believe i will go pick up a copy of.....

soooooo of course now michael the heart patient is all worked up and there is no living with him like this

Well Margo, I know that there are rotten apples in every bunch and you got the rotten one out of that bunch as a neighbor. We had a couple of them too and there isn't much you can do other than what you are doing. I am so sorry that all this crap has to happen. No one needs this stuff. It is a shame that this person has nothing more to do with their life than to cause problems with other people's lives. I feel sorry for those kind of people...they have such a shallow and lonely life...and probably not to many friends either...with icky personalities like they have how could they have any at all...and they will never know the joy that they can have in their life if they were nicer and more loving.

Just remember to take breaths and calm down. You did what you could right now and in the end you will prevail on this. You have the proof and the neighbor doesn't...it is obvious. I bet the animal control person knows what is going on...it doesn't take long for them to know people.

How frustrating!  Hope "getting it out" helped a little.....I'd probably still be steaming.
Really sad how they must be so bored and unsatisfied with their own lives that they have to keep disrupting yours. 

Let the county know the facts......state the facts and just the facts, no emotions and they should handle it.  You might want to let the neighbor know that you are thinking of taking them to court for filing untrue charges against you.  Or you can ignore them........by not responding it will probably drive them nuts.  Some people just like to get a reaction, if you don't give them on they eventually lose interest.  

Hang in there......I can sense it must be very frustrating.  One of my sisters has a crazy neighbor who is always trying to make trouble for them.  It's a challenge for sure!

what is this gripes thread you speak of? 

A few months ago I tried starting a Friday thread about getting the gripes off your chest and clear the and have a nice weekend. I was told numberous time that these people did not have gripes that all was good. So I guess it's better they do their gripping and whinning thruout the threads

We all gripe every day.  There is nothing wrong with that.  The gripe here is about something in her personal life.  I have no problem with that.  My problem would be having a gripe thread and people griping about each other.  I think that was the overall thought process, that a gripe thread was wanted to gripe about each other.  We don't need that.  

Getting something off your chest in a new thread or the What's New thread, or the What's Eating us thread, all are no problem.  If handled correctly.

Can't we just get along? 

This shows me that you didn't read the rules of that thread. The rules stated, that if it had anything to do with anyone on these boards that NO NAMES were to be used. It's nice that the CA board has been able to implement this for that past I'd say 4-5 years......
