Henrietta is leaving town
Susan,
Here's a hug. Good bye to Henrietta.
I had 2 surgeries for acid reflux before my WLS, and when I would aspirate the acid in the night, I would also have a severe asthma attack as it would inflame my bronchial tubes. I have to say that was THE WORST pain I have EVER experienced in my life including child birth! I would just walk around the house and tears would stream down my face from pain...I would down about 10 alka seltzer...so I am hearing you on that issue and hope that like me, your acid reflux will be gone after your surgery!
Good Luck and good thoughts to you and Yay! No vacuum cleaning for you, Missy. That part is just so sad.
Take Care,
Cheryl

We never touch people so lightly we do not leave a trace.

I liken it to mustard gas during WWI. Not only is it painful, but terrifying to wake up gasping for every breath. If there's a way to get rid of this, I'll go for it, but it looks like it will be medication.
So glad to hear someone else has experienced this. It's so hard to explain just how awful it is. No one can imagine, can they?
Hugs

Susan, you are sweet, and kind. It is a pleasure to send you good vibes, you are a real class act.
Once and awhile,I do run across a lady over 50 who still has a monthly, personal choice I guess. It grosses me out personally. I had a partial when I turned 40,I started when I was nine, after the surgery,I went out and bought some all white bed linens.
He was an older surgeon, and he understood. I told him."why do I need the basket, when I do not want to hatch anymore eggs?".
He was so kind,he threw in a bladder suspension for free. After hearing so many women who have been over weight are inclined to have poor bladder control,I was so pleased,of course women who were never over weight can also have this problem.
This was all done vaginally, and he said he even tighted up the vajayjay!
TMI???
