Hi Debbie
I never had to be in liquids before RNY surgery. & that was 5 yrs ago. I know all Docs are different in the world of Obeisity, so if your doc puts you on liquids & I would think 2 weeks is a long time. I was on 6 weeks of pureed foods after surgery
before I could get back to real stuff, but, that was after surgery. Good luck with yours
& hope you get that date soon.

Thanks, Marilyn.  Just a few more hoops to jump through and then hopefully I'll get my date.  Woo Hoo, I can't wait.

Dust off those clothes Jan.  You are soooooo close now.  It's going to be exciting to watch you experience your new life.  You know that I will pray for you during your surgery, and for a great recovery.  I'm 5'5' also, and down to 263, 8 days out from surgery.  My doctor said 180 is an appropriate goal.  (NOT)

I find all the liquids challenging.  I'm hungry.  Even after surgery, when I thought I'd have no appetite I find myself just feeling soooooo hungry.  Maybe its head hunger.  I don't know, just anticipating next Thursday when I can have food that can be masticated to some extent.  Let's show 'em what we got!!!

Many blessings to you beautiful lady.  Every good thing that God can provide, may it befall you.

Other than being hungry, how do you feel?  Tired, achy, in pain?  I'm a little leary of the pain, however, I really do have a high pain tolerance.  Are you having trouble getting in your 64 oz of liquids?  Is that what you mean?  I'm looking forward to being able to eat yogurt and cottage cheese.  I know the first month will be tough, but it's only a month.
We definately will succeed!!!

Hi Debbie,
I drop in now and then and just want to reassure you that the stress test will not stop your progress, only improve it.  I had the thalium stress test, where thalium markers are introduced during your treadmill walk.  It was a non-event.  We like that around here.  Celebrate non-events.  Blessings to you as you continue your preparation.  May God's angels surround you completely, and give you peace.

Mary, thank you for your kind words of encouragement.  Love your statement about God's angels surrounding me!  I've always said this was in God's Hands, and I truly believe this is meant to be and will go without a hitch.  This forum and the wonderful people here is great.  Enjoy your Friday evening!

Hi Debbie,
I didn't have to have this test, but I'm sure you will do fine Debbie, keep your chin up. Hoping your doing well otherwise.

Aww Debbie you are so sweet. I am feeling wonderful, so much energy that I don't know what to do with lol.
I am down a total of  84 lbs and 58 since surgery. I am not having any food issues anymore and I am getting in 64oz of water sometimes more. 1 1/2 miles a day hoping to get to two. I am now in onerderland and I haven't seen that in years. The compliments are coming in big time and thats hard for me to handle I have always been the girl in the middle never wanted anyone to notice me, I know weird. My husband can't stop looking at me and I yell cut it out already lol. All in all I am a happy camper..
Hugs Gail
