Hello Linda and my other food watchers. It is Sunday and the week end is about over...much to my sadness. I love having Bill home for the week ends and they go so fast.   I wish they would last longer!

Food for several of us yesterday was not good...it must not have been Saturday but Suckday....mine was alright and then went down hill when I went to my nieces candle party. Oh well...it is gone and today is another day...thank heaven!

Food yesterday was:
B: cheerios and milk
L: roast beef with cheese and bacon...the inside of a sandwich basically
D: 4 crackers..to many pretzel sticks with to much loaded baked potato dip
S: nothing

Oh well...I will do better today....

I am sending love and hugs to you and prayers for you and yours. Have a great day and will chat with you later on!

Hi all!

We cooked 1/2 of a Country Ham yesterday.   The salt content is way up there!  So my weight is up again.  Not back to the high but need to be more careful.  The ham was given to us for Christmas last year and we figured since it was July we better cook some of it!

My dearest Brenda. It seems you are having a problem transitioning from a reducing lifestyle to maintenance.
For me, maintaining means I can have some pretzels if I want to.
Food only has power if I give it! You are not dieting baby, you are living. Do not let old food concepts beat you up. Do you not see some of us enjoying food that would be considered "verboten".
Your norm now is eating high protein, good carb meals. Once in
awhile, you step out of your box (like a "normie",and enjoy some pretzels or whatever you enjoy)!!
It is up to you of course, but when did one day of eating pretzels make you gain 10 pounds??
I hope you had a great time, and do not allow the food dragon to blow smoke up your...errr...program..LOL!
Don't forget your veggies and fruits, good carbs makes ya burn fat. Momma knew what she was saying about eating your veggies!
Huggers!

Karen, one can never have too many plants. I love that you plan on the cake, then it is not a compulsion. The food dragon has no power over you. My NUT says we should not live like we are prison. I always do protein first,so if I want some of the goodie,I am not looking to get filled up on it,and there is not much room left in The Fangster (my pouch's name).
Enjoy your festivities.

LOL Jan! You made me think of Scarlet in Gone with the Wind, her ongoing line of "I'll think about that tomorrow".
Hey,you are having fun, enjoying everything,as long as you are happy, what else is there?
I would be concerned for you as a person if you ate and then was remorseful,or depressed.
Thanks for sharing, enjoy your son's visit,I know you will!
