An OMGoodness dessert recipe
Hi all,
We had a birthday party for our salon owner the other day. She's on a very strict diet in preparation for her daughter's wedding (gee....sounds too familiar!). I told the crew I'd bring the dessert and it would be sugar free, fat free. They said "does that mean flavor free, too?". Well, I showed them! They nearly licked the pie plate clean! LOLLOLLOL
Thought you all might enjoy it. It's a great summer time treat, and WLS friendly, too.
Weigh****chers Strawberry Pie
Serves 6-8
1 7/8 oz box Jello Sugar Free, Fat Free Cook (NOT instant) Pudding
1 3/8 oz box Jello Sugar Free Strawberry Jello
2 c water
4 c sliced strawberries (I just used a whole plastic container of strawberries)
1 regular size Cool Whip Free
Place sliced strawberries in a 9 inch pie plate. A glass one looks pretty.
In a med saucepan, blend the pudding mix, jello and water together and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let cool for about 5 minutes, then pour over strawberries. Place in fridge for 2 hours, then freeze.
Before serving, allow to thaw for 30 minutes. Spread Cool Whip all over the top and enjoy!

Freezer room. Here's an idea. Use ice cube trays and make yourself little individual servings! A few slices of strawberries and then some of the pudding/jello mix. Freeze them, then pop them out into zip lock bags. Then all you do is put a dollop of Cool Whip onto it in a bowel.
Wow. Five minutes after waking up and I have
I might just do this today!

Aloha sweetie.....Wow...great idea! You just reminded me of what I did for several months after surgery......I LOVED Campbell's cream of mushroom/chicken soup and I would make that and put it into ice cube trays, then a plastic bag. For a meal, I would take our two or three cubes...nuke it.....and that was my meal!
