So, it's MONDAY, what's new with you?
Figured I would get this thing rockin' and rollin'.
Great weekend. Spent every waking moment with my wife (except for about 90 minutes on Sunday afternoon). And she didn't ask for a divorce!
Seriously, it was a good weekend. Hot weather, but got to watch Eddie play baseball. His team got whupped, but you would never know i****ching him come off the field. They lost 16-1, 17-1 and 17-1. Seriously outclassed. His team is a good league team, but they were playing in a select team tournament. They got to see how big the difference is.
So, what did you do this weekend?

Pretty busy... as usual.
Lessee.... cleaned the house up... floors and laundry... bleech...
Finished making my photo booth, and it seems to work pretty well now finally... have to tweak the camera and lights a little but at least I am getting a decent pic of my woodworking stuff now..
Made some pens... wanted to do some bowls but the wood I cut up isn't dry yet so gotta let it sit... made a small rack for the wall in the laundry room to hang cleaning rags and Sham Wow.s from... got tired of them laying around... da bums! ... and another rack in the garage for the weedwhacker and the accessories..
I have been reading up on weigh****chers, and my wife and I went to a meeting... she seems to be ready for this now and liked the WW meeting... so she joined, and I will just tag along. I know if she will get on the wagon I stand a much better chance of getting my s#@* in one sock...
That's it for now... gotta go to work... have fun all...

marc...i have to believe in your theory that if your wife is working on watching what she eats etc it will be easier for you to be compliant! good luck to you both on that aspect!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

note; sure looks weird me replying to each of you above and then my post--but it was done that way!!!
morning! well-it's monday and i really hate mondays...the weekend went by waaay too quickly for this girl...and it seems like i really didn't do anything even tho i was busy all weekend!
michael finished his patio yesterday-it looks awesome! i'll have to work on getting a pic on here- it's made of huge grinding wheels set down with river rock in the centers and in between....he move dthe table and umbrella and chairs down on it and we had breakfast outsoide yesterday--can't do that a lot of days in ohio in summer- beautiful breeze and sunshine but not hot (even tho it was 80)--really made me wanting hawaii even more!!!
and it is getting closer for us--we have set a time frame and will be moving in october if nothing goes wrong with his health!!!!
i did some shopping bought my new jeans that i posted about-and 3 small bushes for out front of the deck by the patio...a spigot so michael could run water out to the back yard....
cleaned and straightened in the house but didn't make even the slightest dent! cuddled with the furbrats...
well- there's more but it's boring stuff so...
today will be work and .....????????
hugs and prayers and a wish for us all to just get along...

Aloha dear Margo.....Are you talking about moving to the Big Island THIS COMING OCTOBER?? That is so soon, and I could not be happier for you, if that is the case. Are you working with a realtor? Would you like the name of someone? I mostly, of course, know Maui...but I have a dear friend who found this place for me 10 years ago now (wow....that amazes me!), and he has a lot of contacts on all the islands.
It will be fun to have you as a "neighbor!"
