What we are eating and what's eating us Tuesday!
Welcome to Tuesday. I am going to try to practice phonetic two(s) today,or too(s),or to. Let's see,it is TOO hot here. I am having TWO eggs TOday,I am being TOO silly, maybe TOO much medicine....LOL...this is TOO funny! Of course some people do not care for my TWO cents!!
Twoday I ate:B-TWO pieces of melba toast with melted pepper cheese on top.L-Ham salad,(not TOO salty)with 6 wheat crackers, they were small,so it was not TOO much.
D-TWO chicken legs,TWO big tablespoons of mashed 'tators and sauteed green beans with bermuda onion. S-TWO oranges S-a slice of Olivia's coffee cake.
I hope you all have TOOthy grins TOday.
Kudos TO Jean who is having a bumper crop of peaches and plums this season. She is donating the fresh fruit to Helping Hands for the less fortunate.
My grandma used to say that no one has TOO little that they have nothingTO give.
Happy TWOsday!!
TOO bad some people won't be able TO see this thread. TOgether we can keep each other in line TO conquer the demons wanting us TO fail. TUne in TOmorrow for more nonsense.
B- - Omelet (TWO eggs, TWO different cheeses)
L - Lean Cuisine Pizza (Cooked for TWO minutes, cut in TWO pieces)
S - TWO Laughing Cow wedges with pretzels.
That's it for now. I think I have taken this TOO far.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
No, surprisingly I'm not nervous right now, just ready. In fact today I got all my hair cut off to about 1 1/2 to 2 inches. It'll be easy to care for and if it falls out I won't miss it as much. Lets get this show on the road!

This was gathered by a gal on the Texas Message Board. I just wanted to make sure I had it readily available when responding to newbies on the board. JodieBlonde posted it and was asked by several people to make sure she put it in her profile. She really gets it.
In 96 hours I'll be headed to the hospital for my WLS. Because of YOU I know ....
1. It won't be a walk in the park.
2. If I feel great 2 or 3 days later, that's natural
3. If I feel like I've been hit by a bus 2 or 3 days later, that's natural
4. That I must sip, sip, sip, walk, walk, walk, rest, sip, rest, sip, sip, sip and repeat the process.
5. That if I don't do step #4, dehydration will likely set in and a visit to the hospital required (I don't think this one will be an issue - my father died in December from extreme complications due to dehydration after chemotheraphy)
6. That I will wake up and wonder "what have I done to myself?", that's natural
7. That no matter what time of day or night, there is someone on the TMB browsing and posting information - the good, the bad and the ugly.
8. TMB has the BEST cheerleaders
9. If I slip up and make wrong choices on occasion, it will be OK that I haven't ruined my sleeve
10. I will be able to eat at my favorite restaurants AND have leftovers for lunch the next day!!
11. Don't get on the scales every single day. (WooHoo for the day - for the first time in my married life I weigh less than my husband this morning!)
12. I have a pretty good idea of what the "don't take another bite" feeling will be.
13. I know that if I want to keep my hair on my head, don't cheat myself out of protein.
14. Protein FIRST, veggies second and then if there's room - a little something extra!
15. That you'll all be here whenever I need a shoulder to cry on or someone to celebrate with - YOU will be here and I THANK YOU so very much for that comforting thought.
And most of all because of YOU - I AM READY ....... for the first day of the rest of my life.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
