Talk people. What's going on today?

Good morning.  It is 5AM, I just called in 45 minutes Personal Time Off so I can leave at 5:30.  I am actually tired today.

I need to go home and get in the garage real quick.  Need to make a path to my tool cabinet and get out my drill and saw so I can work on Mary's desk on Friday morning.

Today is the worst day of the year for sports.  NOTHING going on the day after the major league baseball all star game.  Absolutely nothing.  I may have to resort to reading tonight.

Gosh, George, sure hope you make it through the night!  Hang in there. Maybe a BOOK about baseball???

I ordered James Patterson's new book SWIMSUIT, but have not received it yet.  I will find something.  I do have a book or two about baseball.

Get caught up on Big Brother, I'm watching it too this season.  We can't talk about it unless we KNOW you're up to date.

I am caught up.  Don't worry about talking about it with me around.  I am a big boy.  I can temporarily skip your post undtil the next day.

Russell has to go.  He thinks as much of himself as Jesse does of himself.  What a pair of egos.  And Ronnie is not too bright for being a brain.

She says innocently after dropping the "I'm going to the ER" bombshell last night?  The question here is, what's going on with you?? I've been so worried!  After being down that same long, lonesome highway, I'm more than a little concerned for you. Sure hope you're okay!

So, Old Dog decided to start trying to get me out of bed around 3:30, I finally gave in about 4:15. It's going to be a long day, for sure. But, Gary is working late so I'll stop on the way home, have my grilled tilapia at IHOP, get into jammies and probably fall asleep in the chair in front of the TV. Sounds like a plan!
I tried to get an appointment yesterday with the Ortho, but we played phone tag and so I will try again today. I'm hoping to get it done before my surgery next week so my elbow will have a chance to rest up while I'm recovering. That's MY plan, now let's see if the doctor will cooperate.....LOL

Okay....off to get some more plasma in my cup, hope you all have a wonderful day!

I have had something going on in my abdomen for a while. My PCP sent me to the surgeon, the surgeon referred me to the GI docs. They couldn't fit me in until the 28th. It has been getting harder to eat and drink.

The discomfort increased so I called and begged them to squeeze me in faster, they said go to the ER.

It was total chaos there. 20 rooms filled plus a few of us stuck in the hallway. The nurse forgot to start my IV and sure enough, I got dehydrated. Maybe I was when arriving, don't know for sure.

11 miserable hours later they gave results of the CAT scan. My small bowel is inflamed plus a whole bunch of other stuff happening in there. They want to start with an endoscopy to figure out what to do next.

I have a long list of warning signs to watch for.

oh my----why in the world has this been so hard for you?????????
