It is so busy here,people not getting their heads bitten off makes a difference!!

Happy Thursday everyone,  Good to see so many check ins today and that we are all headed in the right direction.  I'm doing good with my food plan, a slip here and there, but the scale is inching downward again after my long stall.
The guy showed up with the wood chipper yesterday after work.  My housemate cut down some small trees and the pile of tree trimmings I already had all went in.  I now have a surprisingly small pile of mulch for the flower beds and a neater yard.  So I was dragging brush and raking last night for my exercise but my allergies are acting up today.  Spreading the mulch will more exercise.  Gotta love that multi-tasking.  Going for a walk after work and may catch a little of my favorite band at Baja Cantina before going home.

Today I will consume
B coffee/kashi/yogurt
s grapes
L turkey meatloaf from the deli/baby carrots
D leftover chicken stir fry
s 1/2 cup NSA ice cream

Linda,you sound great girl!! Wow,did you luck out with your housemate. Maybe it's because you treat him well,you don't say "boarder",or "renter. You have positive energy,good vibes,and it shows!
I do not call my ventures off my regular menu slips,I call them glides...grin!

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Today it is hot so I am drinking water and more water with crystal lite sunrise of course.  today's flavor tangerine/strawberry.

Breakfast - protein powder with crystal lite
snack - shouldn't have done it but a small piece of almond cake imported from Holland
lunch - small amount probably 1/3 cup of left over shrimp creole
snack - protein drink
dinner- don't know something simple grilled whereever I can get it before support group tonight

I am attending my first support group meeting.  Its not close about a 45 min drive.  I am nearly 3 years out and still can't find a group near me.  All my info has come from this site.  Thank God for OH.

Hiya Linda,good to see you. I ride the short bus,for handicapped people. It is a pain trying to time it right for a meeting,so I am going to start my own. Have you thought about that? I do not know your schedule and availability,I am going to have mine on Saturday so most working people can make it.
There are only four of us now,but ya gotta start some where!! Three years out,you must be doing something right,because you are here.The VFW is letting us have a room.

I have thought about it.  I don't know how many wls peeps there are in my area and I definitely don't feel qualified to lead one.  It is possible that we could get some benefit from just getting together but I would like to have a component of each meeting to be enlightening and helpful and for that you need someone with more knowledge than I have to run it.

Hiya dear Linda,maybe you can bounce off at the meeting you have now. I think if you ask who lives in your area and would like a group closer. If you don't want to lead,may someone else would,or you can be co-leaders together. I suspect you have more to offer than you think.
When I was going to OA meetings,and it was far away from my area I started a meeting with myself and only 2 other people.
They now average 16 people a meeting,and I offer a "food for thought" for every meeting,although I no longer attend.
I also have 4 people from OFF who I "sponsor",they call in their food to me everyday,and we talk about what is going on in their life,2 of them are in OA...
Anonymity is a wonderful thing to have. Knowing you can trust someone and they are not going to "blackmail" you later on with your confidences is a wonderful thing.
Please keep me posted,it is so nice hearing from you.
