Finding your ministry

Jean, this is a beautiful story and it warms my heart.

There is many ways to be a christian and whether of not Mr. P knows it he is doing the work of a christian and a wonderful one at that. You and I both know that someone special is looking down on him with great happiness and joy and we know who that someone is too. :-)

Sometimes people just get to involved with the God thing and get kind of confused. I know that I am a Methodist...and attend the church and I am very involved in my church also. But...there is a lot of the beliefs of Methodism that I do not agree with. I have my own beliefs but like so many things in life I take what I like and leave the rest with the Methodist religion also. We all have our "God stuff" as my Pastor calls it and that is great. Every ones "God stuff" is different. That is alright since we are all different...this world would be sad if we were all cookie cutters of everyone else.

I love the story and I am anxious to hear some others of Mr. P...since I think that there are going to be many more unfolding.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Dearest Brenda, that is a great opinion you have there. It is why I have taken up saying  "the God of MY understanding".
I encompass and embrace many beliefs in my worship. I guess I spread around my beliefs because I want all bases covered..grin!
....love ya!

Jean,
Its truly amazing how charity creeps into our hearts just at a time when its needed.
I'am not religious but have my spiritual moments.  I have been maried in a morman temple, preaching lay at a methodist podium and on a board of a Southern Baptist church.  Its not important who you select for your partner in your spirtiual journey but that you're on one.
I dont identify with a ministry.  My wife is a catholic.  We dont talk religion, yet we have been all over the world visiting Roman churches.,lordes france, vatican etc.  Beautiful churches, and windows.
I believe a calling to help in OH, growing foodstuffs for the needy, or 100's of other charities is lifeblood for our souls.   And the quiet little voice can shout very loudly at times.
Keep up the good work and good luck
