What we are eating, and whats eating us,Saturday...
Good morning Lovely Linda,
LOL - what a cute riddle. I'll have to share that one!
B - French Toast
Not sure about the rest of the day.
After my surgery (which I hope is next month) I'll be posting my daily meals in a more formal fashion. For now, I may as well enjoy whatever time I have left - lol
Have a great Saturday!

Rosey, you make me laugh, and remember. I was on the doctor's protein diet for 2 weeks prior to surgery to shrink my liver. My friend who had her surgery at the same tiime, said she had at least 16 "last meals",before her surgery date. I ended up losing 24 pounds in 2 weeks, she gained 20.
My last meal was a funny one,I had cornflakes and bananas.
I took the advice from my NUT,we had to take this vile pre-surgery drink that really cleaned your insides, big time, she said remember what goes in,must come out,so I didn't eat too much!!
That stuff really cleans your clock!!

Good heavens I rarely FORGET to eat.....I feel like I'm grazing all day......that's how my mother describes it.
Howdy folks,
Still doing OK with my food plan and the scale is ouncing downward. Woo Hoo!
But I'm feeling a little overwhelmed today. I was swamped during my son's birthday this last week and I couldn't call him first thing in the AM like I usually do. He's decided that I was trying to ruin his birthday in relalliation for him declining my offer to come visit for his birthday. Geez! I tried to explain but the emails excalated until finally I lost it and said something to the effect of "show some respect of f**k off." Now he's not talking to me. It really hurts that he would assume the worst about me even though I know his feelings were hurt. We used to be so close and loving. Now he is adopting his dad's low opinion of women in general. I know...Nacho Problem. I'm not going to dwell on it now, no time anyway, just didn't need any extra stress right now.
I've decided to let the mulch spreading and Sunday Blues go for this weekend. I really need to spend some time working on another memo about the retirement situation for a Monday afternoon meetiing with the personnel director. And there are a couple of other birthday dinners today for which I need to make an appearance.
I think this red, itchy, swollen eye thing I have might be poison oak. I have a bumpy, itchy patch on the back of my neck now. Feels like too many bumps to be bug bites. Must have been some on the brush I was dragging out of the creek bed.
B chicken thigh and some grapes
L more grapes and a yogurt
D birthday party: salmon/lamb/vegies and pass on the carbs
s a little wine and small piece of birthday cake
Stay cool and collected, CV Linda

Linda,I know you are really upset because of your run in with your son. They do not know how much they upset us when they fight. It is different dealing with them as adults. I know when you were writing "F off" you were hurting inside, and loving him even then. Things will straighten out again.
I had a blow out with Olivia last week, but settled it soon. I had the option of walking in on her though,I told her that we both know we love each other, can we skip the fight this time?? It worked, and I am sure things will be right with your son, soon.
I hope the poison oak does not do you too much harm. Do you take allergy meds? Even if you take allergy med now,it
will lessen your bodies reaction, maybe help your eye too.
I hope you can enjoy the rest of your weekend,I do believe that taking things a little bit slowly is in order. Hopefully they will get the retirement issue resolved, and in your favor.
You seem to have a fast paced life...smile.
"Nacho business"cute!
Hang tuff,little sister.

Good afternoon to you, my sweetheart. I am running late but what else is new? I was born late and I am sure I will continue my life late too....but then I could come back with...better late than never. Bill is one that has to be early and I am one that is always late..I guess opposites do attract! We are opposites in a lot of ways.
Food yesterday was alright. I guess that is the best that I can describe it. I didn't have a B, L and dinner thing...mostly just pieced as my Grandma use to say. When she would nibble here and there during the day she would call it piecing. She lived alone and she would eat like that most of the time. She was such a sweet person....barely over 4 and half feet tall and just the most God loving person..both of my Grandparents were. I miss them both so much...gotta get off that subject or the water works will start.
I grazed all day on chicken. I had some veggies too and a bit of fruit too. That is my story and I am sticking to it...
I am going through stuff getting things ready for the complex rummage sale next week end. I have to work at the church office starting Monday so I won't be on here early then either. It use to be when I worked up there I was alone most of the time but with the new Pastor he is in the office every day. But I think he is off Wednesday..but then again he has been known to not take the day off either. He is a workaholic....
I better get going. I am sending love and hugs to you and prayers for you and yours are being said too. Have a super day and I hope that you enjoy your movie....it is Harry Potter isn't it? I thought that you mentioned going to see this week end and the week end is here! Spread your happiness and joy.....
