What we are eating, and whats eating us,Sunday!
I can credit Harry Potter books for making both grands great readers.
It is wonderful your daughter enjoys Potter, when I was young, the Hobbits were the rage. It is still the basic good versus evil theory. I do NOT like that Potter gets darker, and people die. I guess as the first generation of "Potters" are young adults now,it makes sense. I do not want Kullie exposed to the later books too soon.
My signature has a Betty Boop Goth style, in a nurses uniform with a noxious teaspoon of medicine, and a thunder bolt.
My new tag line is "What we fear,we create"...smile.
I asked the tech why the foil,it seems one of the vitamin tests is light sensitive,I would have to assume it is either K,A or D,as those are the ones they were testing for.Someone asked me about the foil, and it turns out the lab had not done the complete testing, however this person was so rude,it over shadowed the benefit of her knowledge,as she was calling me a liar at the same time.
So Miss Cheryl, the question put to our group today is what they get from the quote,"What we fear,we create".
I am so happy you are having a good weekend. "Progress, not perfection". (OA)
I hope the rest of your weekend is wonderful. I would think scrap booking is wonderfully relaxing,as is my knitting.
One of the ladies here has asked me to make scarves for her grands, with the favorite Potter sector colors...smile.She noticed the Slitherin (sp)scarves in their pics.
It is for Christmas,so I have plenty of time.
Bye for now!
Now my burning curiosity is satisfied about your tag...I have always wondered what your pic is there and just never thought to ask!
Oh and thanks for educating me on the foil...very interesting I must say.
I have been saying that saying (What we fear we create) in one form or another for the past 10 or so years, after I finally figured out that's what I had done to myself my whole life. When I was a teen, I thought I was fat and viola! I WAS! Now, I have said this wise saying to my daughter and she has listened...so I Believe what you are saying!!! Love it!
I finally finished the one scrapbook and put pics of it on my profile. It turned out pretty cute. It was small so was easy. The next one is bigger and more pages and I will have to use my mind more. I will start today or this evening then try and do a few pages every night. It is relaxing if I can get into the zone, but sometimes it makes me anxious. Today it was relaxing.
I watched the movie Seven Pounds while I worked on it. It is a good thing Will Smith is so dang goodlooking or I would of had to stop the show. I did not like it much...but Will? Oh, yes, I do like him!!!!
I made my curry chicken, apple, golden raisins, peanuts, onion, dill and cilantro salad. OMG! It was...******ic! Can I say that?!!! I love Jean's recipes and always think they sound gourmet...and today I felt like I made something good like Jean always does. I wish she could taste it and tell me if it is a winner!
Take Care,
Cheryl

MMMM Cheryl, that salad sounds great, details please! Hmmm so 7 pounds was not great, thanks for the info, someone else told me it was great. of course you can say ******ic,ain't no kids here, honey child!
Glad to supply the info, but it also is cause to ponder. I wonder why I had never had the test before, and if our people here are really getting a complete panel. I will ask more questions when I go to my doctors, and I may contact vitalady on this.
I sometimes freak myself out when I am sewing,I am so anxious for it to be perfect, when I relax into it,it is so relaxing.
it is good to know you have grown, and no longer have a lot of fears,it seems I am almost always conquering new fears.the sleep deprivation test tomorrow, the upcoming surgery,re-entering the workforce,on and on it goes,I shoot them down as they crop up.
I have high anxiety, but I work with it,opting to not take my med for it,if I can avoid it.
Be well...
LOL! Huggers Jani! My neurologist is responsible for my getting my first COMPLETE panel since my RNY!!
His tests, plus the tests for my surgeon and my PCP,added up to 16 vials of blood being taken. No one, especially my PCP thought "wow that's a lot of blood for one sitting"!
It seems with all of the tests, the lab missed a few! I have to get them all in before knee replacement surgery. You an imagine how thrilled I was to have more testing yesterday!!
If you look under my response to Cheryl, you will know what my pic is,and today's question.I guess it is your settings that blocks most of it. I am not savvy enough to shrink it,but when my grand comes over,I will ask him.
I hope you are having a good day,you sound feisty, that is great!
