Kinda new - kinda in the middle here - looking for a 'home'

Love you sense of humor and you fit right in.
I heard many of the same statements about not being big enough, and so on. . . yeah, I hid it well too, but tell my legs, ankles and feet that one, they felt the "weight" of it and therefore I had chronic pain and an inability to do the simple things, such as walking, that give you a quality of life that keeps you wanting to be here. . . now I can do so much, seems like I am closer to 20s than my actual age in terms of energy and ability to do, so what I can tell you is this, what you lose in weight, you will gain in friendships made here and if you have local support groups, get involved, the sooner the better, our friends and family, while they may support us (some don't), really don't understand this process the same way someone who has been here and done it does.

Welcome to OFF. No one need feel out of place here. Maybe we identify our age just to let the younguns know they might get bored reading about grandkids, bathroom issues and other old lady stuff. But we also have wisom or at least claim too since that is supposed to come with age as well as the wrinkles and achey joints. Feel free to lurke and post away any ole time. We are here to listen, support, chastise when necessasry, and in gereral be a friend. You are more than welcome here.
