Welcome Mary, sounds like things are moving in the right direction for you.  Sept is not very far away.  Get ready for a wild and crazy ride.  You lose weight a lot faster than your brain can catch up with.  I still look in the mirror on occasion and am surprised by what I see.  Let us know for sure when you get the approval.

Mary, I love your new picture! I'm replying to an old post but it is because something in it caught my attention: "I work for a large university in Seattle." My daughter, Erin Fay, is an accountant for the U. I know it's a big place but thought I'd mention it! Your time is getting ever so close my dear! Another in common thing, my daughter has twin girls age 17 months that are the light of my world!

 I am older then dirt!! I am divorced THREE times and will NEVER do that again!! I have a great boyfriend!!!

I have two wonderful daughters. Jamie and her husband Travis, live in Iowa and have two children. Nic 16 and Grace 2.
Carrie and her family lives here in Minnesota. Carrie has three children. Kyleigh 17, Amanda 15 and Lucas 11 ( in a few days!!). Carrie is engaged(Greg) and they plan to be married in about a year.

I had Lap RNY almost 2 years ago. I feel fantastic!! I was 242 pounds and am now 121-125 pounds. I wear junior size 0 to 3 pants and small/medium tops. The only regret I have is that I waited so long to have this surgery!!

I work for a company that finds training and jobs for people that are 55 and older. I love my job!!

My mother and father divorced after 28 years of marraige.  My mother remarried a couple of years later, then left him after a few years.  Did not get a divorce.  She said if she divorced him, she would be stupid enough to get married again.  She has been living with her current boyfriend for about 15 years or so.

Hijack --- Connie, how tall are you?  I started at 242.5.  I can't imagine getting down to such a small size.  I would look sick since I've been a chub my entire life.  Zero isn't even a size, it's not a number!!  It's just wrong....

Hi Jan...I am 5' 4" tall. I have always had a small bottom half even at 242 pounds. They say I have chicken legs!!!

I carried all my weight above my waist...big...huge tummy...ugh!! Glad that is gone!!!!!!!

That's funny, my Mom was 5 2 and we used to say she had chicken legs, put a tail on her and she'd have been perfect.  Carried everything in front, belly and boobs, no butt (me either).  I weighed my self today and I now weigh less than my hubby....a wow moment and goal achieved.

Connie, if you're truly "older than dirt" your pic sure doesn't show it.  Girl, you look young, must be living right!  Wow, you're TINY!!!  I can't imagine EVER being that size.  I too regret having not having the surgery sooner, we missed out on so much.  Well I'm here to tell you the men in the nursing home better watch out cuz this old broad will give 'em a run for their money some day.

Hello.  My name is George.  I represent the sane side of the OFF (the males). 

I am 58 years old, married 35 years.  Had RNY 19 months ago.  Went from 360 down to 210 in 6 months.  Have been between 210 and 215 for the last 13 months.  My wife had her RNY before me.  I used her as a guinea pig.

I work overnight in customer service.  I also have a part time job managing a telemarketing room.

I am a HUGE baseball fan.  LOVE them TEXAS  RANGERS. 

Post on three different boards on OH.  Keeps me busy overnight while I work.
