What we are eating and what's eating us Tuesday!
Most of the time,I do not relate to her,or her guests.
Then the way she talked about RNY,well,as grandma would say "That tore the rag off the bush".
Which means there was such a storm,the rags hung out to dry were blown away..LOL...hadda be there.

I've been online a little too long and don't want to get caught by the online police! I'll have to make this quick.
B - protein shake
S - protein shake
L - beef stew with lima beans thrown in, maybe a piece of cheese or I'll go to the cafeteria and see if they have any GOOD veggies. Hey wait, I forgot I brought a banana with me this morning.
S - yogurt with Kashi cereal
D - steak smothered with onions, eggplant
S - cottage cheese and fruit

Ok I think I'm back on track! Went to the gym first thing yesterday morning.
Protein shake and supplements, gym workout, 5 miles! (and a lot of sweat!)
Snack: Fiber one yogurt
Lunch: Shrimp salad, apricot, turkey rollup
Snack: tuna/crackers (too many!) Darn why do I continue to think that I can control those things!
Dinner: Turkey sandwich, sliced cucumbers, strawberries
Lots of water and tea. It was 102 here yesterday and more of the same the rest of the week.
Wish I had seen that Oprah show. Missed it. Getting ready to head to the gym. Have a good one everyone.

Wish I'd seen the Oprah show too. I'm grouping my home phone, Internet and cable together to save about $20 per month with free HBO for two years so splurged for the DVR rental at $10 per month. Once they hook me up I'll be able to record Ellen, Oprah and other shows I miss while at work.
Food was good yesterday except it was pastry day and I sampled. Personnel meeting went well. I gave them what documentation I had, clarified a few points and they'll pass the information on to the attorney they have trying to sort it all out. More to follow.
But I started listening to Wayne Dyer's book, Change your Thoughts, Change your Life, this morning. Very inspirational on the topics of letting go of expectations, remaining humble , etc.
Kind of incongruous while contemplating legal action but emotionally balancing.
Made a big pot of chili last night and picked up a free bookcase that fits next to my couch better than the piano bench I was using there. Today I will eat:
B coffee/protein bar
s Kashi/yogurt
L chili
D steak and green beans
s NSA ice cream and handful of nuts

Hey there Lovely Linda and OFF friends,
I haven't followed Star or Al Roker, however, I did read Carnie Wilson's Book, Gut Feelings, and thought it was great, although I heard she gained her weight back. Hopefully, Al and Carnie will find themselves and get the weight under control. How sad after going through WLS to gain back the weight.
Good luck to the those having surgical procedures or tests. Positive thoughts and prayers heading your way for good results/news.
I'm not posting my food intake, but will make a point to do it every day once I have the surgery. I know I'll certainly need the support and accountability.
