Help, please.  I blew up my old computer and lost the chart that shows where we absorb various nutrients.  Do you still have it?  And the link to that guy's page with the BMI calculator and the great information on various methods of figuring out appropriate weight.  It's an oldie but a classic.

And here's an interesting thing for you:  I take warfarin and am monitored by the University of Michigan's "Coumadin Clinic."  They allow some food rich in Vitamin K and it is heaven to have broccoli, blueberries and  a spinach salad from time to time. The rest of my diet hasn't changed, and it is pretty healthy. I have it down to a science now, just how much good stuff I can eat and still not require an increase in the rat poison (blood thinner).  So one day I got to thinking.  If I can fine tune my K, that means that I am absorbing it at a steady and predictable rate.  I wonder what else I'm absorbing that reliably?  I'm not going to consider dropping any supplements, but it got me thinking.

All are welcome to chime in, I just know that Darlene has lots of expertise in this area.

We have two doctors at the hospital I work in doing studies with warfarin and a biotin based medication. These are blind tests.  It appears that biotin is used for lots of stuff....
