Thursday - what's happening with you?
There is still an hour of morning left so..Good Morning!!
It is suppose to be a very warm day, but you couldn't prove that by my frozen fingers here in the office. I accidently took my office sweater home with me last week and boy, do I miss it. I am almost caught up on my work. There is a real mutany going on about my new boss. I am afraid things are going to get ugly next week when she returns from this training. I get to go the first week in October for My Infant massage training can't wait.
I have been carless for 2 weeks now, still not sure if we are going to sel it for parts or try to replace the heads...what ever that means, I just know I can't be spending big bucks, or even medium bucks on getting it fixed. Tomorrow my daughter is bringing baby Hunter and her car to me for the day .I have such a long list of things I have to do and all I want to do is play with him all day, well I will try to get my errands done fast. Any one have a pond?? I have a tiny pond and something is eatting my water lettace!! I bet it is a raccoon, it is eatting the bulbs.In the mornings I will find plants up out of the water. A while back I scattered dirty kitty litter in the area, for scent and that seemed to help for a while but it/they are back. Anyone ever have this happen??

Hi Margaret and my OFF family:
I'm bringing up the rear today. Had a busy morning because it's payday and I had to do my grocery shopping. Now the money's nearly gone and I don't know where it all went. Well, I had to buy a few things on sale like toilet paper ... so it goes fast. I still have some money left but wi**** was more. I'll get a bigger check next week because I'm working six days this week.
Last night I did three pages in 4 1/2 hours (well, one page was just a one-column strip, so it didn't take that long). Then I did a page for sports on the old system. It's hard to go back and forth between old and new ... it's like speaking two languages at the same time. Some of the people in sports are really apprehensive about the new system. They shouldn't be; it's not that bad. It just takes some time to get used to.
I got home after 1 a.m. and stayed up til nearly 4 a.m. watching the White Sox game; now today's game is on so I have to get out there and watch another game. Then it's a big four-game series with the Tigers in a battle for first place of the AL Central Division ... I know, more baseball talk that most of you could care less about ... George and I, we care (Brenda's a Sox fan too).
Well, have a good day. We had some big storms yesterday as I was going to work; some power outages too, but not by me at least. One of our interns' apartments was out, though.

Hi All,
I had a mostly rotten day but am trying to just forget about it.
I've gotten a ton of cooking done and even have almost all the boxes that have been sitting in the dinning room since I moved taken care of. I either emptied the box or moved it to the right room (i.e box of guest room stuff moved to the guest room), or it went to the garage to sit and wait with all the other boxes waiting to be taken care of.
I'm very much in a throw it out kind of mood.........if it's been in a box for the last year (or longer) we obviously don't need it! I called a local organization about donations and they will take anything and everything I want to get rid of. They help people, families get back on their feet....they especially work with women who are coming out of shelters and trying to get a new start so I feel the stuff will go to good use.
Going to cut some watermelon to snack on later.......
