Thanks.  That sounds good and I will try it.
I sauteed slivered brussels sprouts last night in a little olive oil and garlic and loved them  toasted cashews, etc. can be added.  I had read somewhere that cooking the sprouts in this manner takes away the bitter taste and it does.  Really good!

Hi Dearest!

Well, I'm up but I'm sure not at 'em yet. I've stayed in bed and slept on and off all day, so eating hasn't been too good. Yesterday was lost as far as food goes, oh well, it's expected. Here's what today is shaping up to look like:

b--1 slice french toast, 2 thin slices bacon

L--1/2 egg salad sandwich

s-  cottage cheese and yogurt

d-leftover shrimp creole

s- Atkins chocolate chip granola bar

3 SF FF lattes and one of the chocolate covered apple slices.  Lots and lots of unsweetened tea/crystal lite. Trying to get rid of this excess fluid.   AKKKKKK

Hello lovely Susan. I  thope you eat enough protein, you need that badly. I think I may make a little creole, but no shrimp,my allergies are running high and I can not do shrimp now,I still can make a decent creole, with crab meat and salmon, sounds strange, but it is tasty.
You keep resting,and stay sweet!
Hugs!

Okay, I'm going to whine.

Not only do I have three holes in my belly, a shaved hoo-hoo, and constipation due to the Vicodin (stopped those already), I now have a head cold and a GIANT zit on the end of my nose. Come on....why kick a girl when she's down???

Every time I sneeze or cough it's agony.

Alrighty, I'm done. Could be worse.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming!

Forgot to add....ate the Atkins bar, will get in a protein drink before bed.

Hugs to all!

Susan

Susan, baby doll, you whine all you need to. I take Vicodin every day,no choice and I still hurt. If you tolerate oranges, please eat one everyday, and chew the pulp, you will go potty. My NUT also recommends Milk of Mag,half water with it,it works like a charm.
If you have green tea, make yourself a cup, then put the tea bag on your zit. An apple makes your skin lovely, try one everyday.
Errrr, as for the shaved yahoo, well, some men like a change..nuff said,I am blushing!!!

Joyce!! How wonderful to see the first person I ever spoke to on OH!! I am on maintain ace as are a quite a few of us! Your food does not look the least bit excessive.
Joyce is on her way to Washington to help Vitalady at a OH convention.
She makes all things WLS happen in AZ.
Please return to us again. I tried to make rice twice today, and I failed, not like me at all.
I am going to return to the kitchen again. I swear it is the humidity,I am not used to cooking with it.
I am determined to have some rice with my chili tonight!!
Many hugs,dear lady!
