Hi There Its Friday and all is well......Friday Thread
Hi There,
Well Ill be traveling yet again. Tomorrow we are going to drive down to Ft Lauderdale area to see our friends and my other cousin. Then I get this phone call from my best friend in Denver. She said I should get on a plane around our other friends birthday. So I am flying to Denver Augest 14th for a week. We are doing a surprize birthday dinner for her cause she has bone cancer and is in staage 4 not good. Good thing is Im not driveing and I am flying.
I am so glad Susan fared well with getting rid of Hennrieta Hernia.
Glad the White Sox did well!!!!! I do watch some baseball!!!!!
Im so glad I dont own a home. My dishwasher went bust!!!!! Ordered the part for the spraying tower cause the one that was in there melted. Well the new part wont stay on. So my cousin called the repair man to come on Monday. I guess we can do dishes by hand!!!!!
It it cost more than 100.00 my cousin is going to get me a new dishwasher. I said I wanted to pick it out!!!!! WE shall see.
Ill have my little computer with me over the weekend so Ill check in.
Off to lala land.

Carla - you sure do travel a lot - good for you.
My refrigerator is dying right now! I found sour milk a couple of days ago and stupidly thought that the milk must have been past its date, but it wasn't. I noticed today, after I purchased lots of chicken and turkey ( I am trying to eat to cut back in carbs and eat more protein) that my freezer isn't freezing as it's supposed to. The fridge is around 20 years old, so it doesn't owe me anything. I could get it fixed, but I'd rather just get a new one and be done with worrying if I'm going to lose a lot of money because I will have to throw everything out.
It's close to 1:00, so I'd better get to bed
so that I can go refrigerator hunting in the morning.

Margo - I took down my picture when I heard that some of my students were going to have wls and might see me here when I am not ready to come out of the wls closet. I have decided to attend a support group and will see others in the same boat as I'm in, so I'll put my picture back up since there is no use in hiding anymore - you'll see me again soon.

Mary's best friend comes in to visit Saturday. Her plane lands at 3:30 and she will be around for 8 days. She is with Mary Kay and comes to the convention every year. She always comes in early and leaves late to spend time with us.
Today's funny:
Father and son are sitting at the table.
Father: Did you remember to wash your hands?
Son: To eat vegetables grown in the dirt?

The furmonsters woke me up early. If you had a chance to see the video from Eileen, that's my house in the morning. Tony walks over my face and kisses my nose. Jimmy stands on my hair and whines. The others take turns making bread on various body parts until I get up and add food to their already filled food dishes.
Sitting at my desk I hear the squeak under foot of what I thought was one of their noisy toys. Then it dawned on me ... all 7 cats never play with the same toy at the same time.
Sure enough, they had a mouse. Poor critter was terrified.
Much to their chagrin, I scooped it up in the trash can and let it go outside.
They are all furious with me and are under my feet, searching for their lost treasure. What a way to start the day.

At least your furbabies actually go after the mouse, mind is as afraid of them as I. She and I locked ourselves in hubby's office the other morning because we heard a mouse in the kitchen. LOL. I kept telling her to go and be brave and save mommy and she buried her head under my arm. What a brave princess I have created.
my callie would be locked in the bedroom with jeannieand her princess! my ernestine and precious-from years ago--loved to torture little birds...i sat one nite at 2 am eating fruit loops (that was my craving during pregnancy with daughter) and found one at my feet- my sweeties thought i needed a gift!!!
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
