Oh, no, I am not offended, not at all, don't worry. I am a social worker so I know what you mean about that. I had been seeing a therapist and didn't really have much to say, but after being off of the AD I probably have lots to say now!
Yeah, prob need that maintenance thing again too.

I have done nothing but putter and clean those out of the ordinary do-dads today. Tom warned me to be careful of using so much water. Despite the frequent rain, our well is struggling. We have had 8 wells since buying this house 43 years ago. I may have to start doing a rain dance on the front lawn.

Good morning friends,
Today I'm heading over to Walmart to get me a new mile meter thingy. I must have broken mine because it isn't moving. My son gave me the brand name of the one he uses, so I'm getting that one. Hope it lasts a while.
It is a little cloudy and not so hot out, so I am going to try and get all of my things done before it does get hot.
I did a lot of house cleaning yesterday, so today I just need to change the sheets on my bed and get the laundry done. I really should spend the day writing but I need to be up and moving around.

well i called in sick today because i just feel so worn out!!! my whole body hurts and i just felt it best to lay around all day and see if that helps. sometimes i wonder if i am getting fybromyalgia (sp) i hurt so bad!!! sighs...
talked to my mom this morning and she said her stress test results came in and she is fine!! yippeee!!! one more load off my worrying!!! now my brother is having something done on monday but she wasn't sure what it was...my younger brother is taking him for that. i hate being told about a surgery and her not knowing what it is!!!! grrrr have to call my brother later and ask him what is happening i guess. then my sister is finally getting her new port put in so she can have her dialisis done three times a week. her stress test came out ok also from what mom said. still no other word on my ex and his infections, eating and eye removal surgery. far as mom knew he is eating again and no surgery to remove the eye yet.
got another notice from my bank that my credit card has been reduced because of my "bad" credit report...thanks to my ex stepdaughter!!!! seems she stopped making house payments and also a water bill payment...she sure can be a "witch" at times!!!! her dad was awarded the house and its bills and she is his POA and in my book she is NOT doing her job at all!!!! i am sure she is using HIS money to help her pay her bills instead because she lost her job a few months ago!!! oh well nothing i can do about it because i can't afford to "BUY" him out for my share in the house.
well i am off my box now and going to get me some lunch then lay around and wait for the "storms" to hit us...so far its been overcast with some light rain but they say the bigger storms will be this afternoon and tonight...right now sun is trying hard to come out....

Getting late here ... it's after 1 p.m. and I need to get into the shower, then have lunch and get ready for work this afternoon. Yes, I volunteered for a sixth shift this week to make some extra money. With the four people we lost due to buyouts and people now on vacation, we are shorthanded. So my boss needs people to work extra shifts. He's asking everyone to take on an extra shift ... this was my week. We all need the extra money with the pay cut. Plus, I got an extra hour of pay yesterday because I came in early to edit and paginate a movie review. And it's good practice for me on the new system ... I learned to do a review box (tricky!). Anyway, I need to be in at 3 p.m.
I did my business pages last night on the new system ... in fact, all three of us did our pages on deadline on the new system and got out on time (the intern worked the old system because he wasn't trained on the new one). It was an all-woman crew, save for the intern. We rocked!
It feels like rain today, although right now it's not overcast ... a little cloudy, but it was overcast when I woke up. My knee and back are bothering me, though.
Not a whole lot else going on. Janet, I hear ya on Facebook. I don't go in for all the games and such ... just don't have the time for it, and I don't want to be sitting at the computer that long. I sit at the computer all day at work, and I want to sit in my recliner at home. Now if I had a laptop, it might be different. Still, I enjoy connecting with old friends, like my old coworkers from Aberdeen and college and high school friends. That's been fun. My brother joined Facebook too, now that he has a home computer (he got one because he'll be unemployed soon now that AIG is closing his office in April). He's not sure about being on there either.
Well, I should get off of here and get ready for my day. Finishing up my second cup of coffee. Have a good day. I have only one day off this week. Oh well, the paycheck will be a good reward ... almost like a real check instead of a bankruptcy-and-pay-cut-depleted check.
I got all the trim boards washes down with Lysol concentrate to kill the mold. Tomorrow I have to sand them and re-stain them. I need to got back to Home Depot again tomorrow to get polyurethane so I can get it coated and remounted by Tuesday.
BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
