What we are eating, and whats eating us,Sunday!
Jean! I missed you! Your message says 12/31/69,maybe I am time traveling!
I am happy you relate to the perfume taste,I think I react to "false" tastes, too many chemicals now seem to be a deal breaker,as does too much salt.
I hope you and Mr. P have a fine day,and of course your sweet doggies!
Have you started your new job?

Linda,
Never before in my life did I hesitate to put food of any description in my mouth - except for the sea slug I had in Taiwan, it all tasted fine to me - but in the past 2 years I've become a lot more cautious because things that used to taste OK just don't taste right somehow. I don't know if it's because my intake of junk food, packaged and processed food has dropped since I had WLS, so I'm more sensitive to it now, or whether my band is pressing on nerves that are sending weird messages to my brain, or what.
My new job fell through already, because I told them I needed a week off in August (I'm going to the OH event in Seattle and visiting some friends out there). I'm sorry the job didn't work out, but I understand why they couldn't give me a week off and it would take me a long time working at minimum wage to earn back the money I already spent on this trip.

Hi Linda,
I am not even going to publish what I've been eating the past 2 days! Let's just say that all my good work from the past 2 weeks is back to where I started then. Poop!
Today is a new day, and I will walk on my treadmill, even tho I had planned to take weekends off. Since I had that ultra sound early Thursday and went in to work early Friday I didn't do the treadmill those days or yesterday. So...
it is what it is.....
Tom has been watching what he eats for the past 3-4 months and has lost about 25 or so pounds. Of course he didn't have to do too much but stop eating peanuts and a jar of peanut butter a week, cut portions down and such, but his labs came back not so hot back then and that spurred him to watch it. I am glad, not only for his health, but that peanut butter is expensive and that man was eating a huge jar a week!!! And a huge bag of peanuts.
Your nut snack sounds really good, Reminds me of my granola bars I make. Mine are not low in carbs, however. Mine are evil.
Have a fun day Linda Lou!

My hubby cut out cokes and lost like twenty pounds in a month. I'm happy he did that but before wls and when I was working my butt off trying to lose, I could cut out entire weeks of eating and not even lose that much. LOL. Men have all those big muscles, some bigger than others, and it just takes more calories to move them. Damn men.

Men!! Dontcha love them?? They lose weight so darn easy! I am happy he did not break the bank with the peanut butter and maybe now you can get a little of your pumpkin treat!!
With my new snack,it is very satisfying,I am happy I do not have to eat the bag!!
I am just happy to see you...you are a good person, and I think about you when you do not show up here. We are much alike,I am very hard on myself.
Always know you are special!

Like the boyscouts say,,Be Prepared!!
So far this week, I have lost 2 pounds,,ok,,so its probably water..well,,at this point I dont care if its earwax,,as long as I see those numbers moving in the right direction!!
