Update on Cristin

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated you on my coworker's daughter's heart condition.  Cristin went home a couple of weeks ago.  She's doing so well!!!  She even visited us at work last week.  Her hubby drove.  She's enjoying being home with her three little ones, her L-VAD is working fine, but is rather bothersome in that it gets in her way and slows her down.

Now on to other news.  This same cowork's husband needs a liver transplant.  No one realized how sick he was, mostly because he's always complaining.  He's the king of drama, and everybody thought he was needing attention because Cristin was getting it all.  Sorry, being truthful here.  Anyway, they found out around the time Cristin went home that her stepdad needs a liver transplant.  This morning I was shopping in WalMart when my cell phone rang.  Quite unusual that anyone calls me on my cell, but George was out fishing and I thought it might be him.  I saw the call was from my coworker, her first words were, "We need prayers!"  Her husband was to report to the hospital this afternoon for a possible transplant.  So, hopefully, by this time tomorrow some of her worries will be history.

So friends, please do what you do - pray, send positive vibes, peaceful thoughts, good wishes, hocus pocus...And if you don't want to, that's okay too.

Good gracious, Debbie!  How much can one family endure?

All I can say is that I hope they have good insurance so at least they won't have money to worry about as well.

Glad Cristin is hanging in there and she's able to out and about.

I'll keep the good vibes a-comin'

Susan

Debbie, my prayers are being said for your co workers husband. This has to be so difficult for your friend...having been through this with her daughter and now with her husband. I am saying prayers for her for strength and understanding. Please let us know what is going on when you find out. I am so glad that she has you to go to when she is in need of prayers. She must know that you have many prayer warriors....which you do!

I am so glad that Cristin is doing so well. It must be difficult for her to be going through this. My prayers continue for her also.

Thank you for being such a good and kind friend...you are so special to so many people. I am sending love and hugs to you...just because you are you and I love you.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
