It's Monday........what's new with you??
I bought a red dress when my gf married my cousin/Godfather. My one aunt now calls me the lady in red (that was when that song was out****pt that dress and it is safely tucked away in my closet. It wasn't the largest size I had to buy (I gave that to my cousin...now I wish that I had kept it) but that had special memories too.
I love the story about the wobbly skin. That reminds me when Kayden hung on to my turkey neck. I told him that he was hanging on to Grandma's turkey neck and that he was the only person in the whole world that Grandma would let hang on to the turkey neck. He just kept looking at me all the while I talked to him about it. He was about 3 weeks old then. Now he is 3 months old...time goes fast. It won't be long and all these joyful happenings will be distant memories...and I don't like that. But what are you going to do? They have to grow up.
My daughter baked our cake which was layers of red hearts. I couldn't find a top piece with a red dressed bride (gee wonder why not) so I painted the brides dress red.
Kayden will be allowed to do almsot anything with grandma and remember it all with love. You will both make new memories each time you get together. I PROMISE!!!!
Something weird is going on here, I'd block whoever it is and be done with it. Crazy folks are everywhere
LOVE THE NEW AVITAR, MY FRIEND IN RED!

Good Morning Ruth and Friends, Still pre dawn around here and all is quiet. Everyone still recharging from a busy weekend. And man oh man do these babies recharge. They sleep from about 7:30 pm til 7am at least and then. . . we open the door. They are standing up rattling their cribs, grinning from ear to ear, ready to take on the world. So eager to begin their day. Oh how I long for a night of sleep like that!
It was hot here yesterday. Above 90 and humid. It rarely gets that warm over here. Erin got out for a few hours. The girls took a nap then we went for a walk. They have a double twin stroller with a shade. We walked down and around the loop. DOWN is the key word there. Then we walked UP. They now weigh over 20 lbs each. A bit of a load coming back up the hill! I was sweating profusely by the time we pulled the top of the hill. Then we crossed the busy road where I dare not walk them to see the miniature ponies in the field. Five of them munching away on the grass. When we "called" them making horsey noises they ambled over to check us out. We stood there and "talked" to them for about 20 minutes. The girls thought that was pretty neat. Looking at the world through their eyes is so much fun.
I made juice popsicles. We'll give them a try outside one day this week.
Think I'll visit the outlet malls today while Erin's working and they are at day care.
I ended up canceling the beach house I had reserved. After looking at it I decided I just didn't like the location. Tuesday I'll visit the Long Beach Peninsula area and see if I can find something there. The beach is nicer there and there are more things to do.
I guess I'm up for the day even tho it's still dark. I really like the predawn quiet before the rest of the world wakes. It gets noisey and busy around here quickly about 7am.
You all have a good one. I need to get a good walk in today before it gets too hot.
