Good morning to you sweetheart. I am so glad that your week end went well..and from the sounds of it you certainly enjoyed it and that is the important thing! Does Charles know how lucky a man he is to have you in his life now? If not just give him my number and I will enlighten him to the information.

My week end went by to fast..but isn't that the way it always goes? I woke up yesterday thinking it was Saturday and then realized that it was Sunday and then I got kind of sad...but then I remembered I was going to church and all was well.

Food yesterday was good protein wise. I keep remembering what you told me about eating what I can and just concentrating on that. I had a lot of protein but it was at a Chinese buffet...but I worked on the best that was there. The good thing...I got the protein. My great niece went to church with me and I told her that she could go where she wanted for lunch. So she chose the Chinese buffet...she said that she has been wanting that for a long time. So we took her there and for the 2 adults and the kid (which they charged me full price for I might add) it cost us $35.00...and I didn't have anything to drink bu****er with lemon. I about crapped when we got the bill. I told Bill that we aren't going back there on Sunday's...they are way to expensive for me. I ate just a bit and I was $10.00. Boy they made a profit from me. ha ha

B: 7 ounces of milk with my daily meds...not the antibiotic
L: shrimp, crab legs and more crab...I love crab can you tell?
D: nothing
S: nothing

The antibiotic is driving me nuts. I can't eat 2-3 hours before or after and I can't have calcium or vitamins 2-3 hours before or after....when does that leave me time to eat or take my vitamins when I have to take them 3 times a day? Does no one think of that? I work on it hard but sometimes it is difficult.

Have a great day and know that I am sending love and hugs and prayers are being said for you and yours today. Have a great time scattering today...

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Holy crapola Brenda,no bargain there,I would have made a stink, they would have let me take my food home in the end. I hope you enjoyed your food.
Smile...Charles says I am very special...I asked him if I was the first woman he picked up at the deli part of the market. He says he always hangs out there, but has only picked up free cheese in the past..LOL.
It is wonderful you feel the way you do about church. I do not go to church,I tried visiting, but I do not fit, they always politicize, and I leave...sigh.
I hope you have the best of days Brenda.

I mostly go to fellowship with my church family. I feel that most of them are like my family and I love them all so. I do sometimes differ from the beliefs of the Methodist religion but for the most part I am worshiping God and that is what is important to me. I love my new Pastor...he is the most greatest person and is so motivational too. He helps me to put things in proper order in my head. ha ha   That is something that takes some doing most of the time. It is hard to make my brain make sense!

I hope that Charles puts you above the free cheese...and I am sure that he does. He knows a good thing when it is front of him I am sure! And let me tell you one thing...you have to be one of the best things that ever entered his life..I know this and I don't even know Charles! I am a smart woman for sure! If he doesn't treat you good just let us know and he will have to deal with some brothers and sisters that he might not have planned on dealing with!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Sweet Linda, your story brought back horrible memories from my childhood. I was addicted to amphetamines by the time I was 15. My SIL and I used to stay up all night cleaning we were so wired. All they did was make me have a clean house and smoke like a fiend. I heard years later the doctor that prescribed the pills to me was cited by the CA medical board. Served the bum right.

Mondays are Fosamax days so my schedule is all messed up. By the time I wait the 30 minutes after taking it, I REALLY want my first latte, which leads to the second one, so here I am at 8:45 finally eating breakfast. Oh well. I have all day to play catch up.

2 ff sf lattes
mini bagel, cottage cheese and cantaloupe

Not sure what the rest of the day will bring food wise. I'm sure it will include a protein drink or bar. I'm very glad to say that the chocolate covered apple slices the kids brought me as a get well gift are now gone. Nice thought, but would have preferred flowers.....calorie free...LOL

Will edit later.

Hugs to all!
Edit

Here's the rest of my day. Finally figured it out.

l--Lean Cusine Sesame stir fry w/chicken

latte-2% 12 oz

Mahi mahi, 1/2 baked sweetpotato, broccoli

Good morning Lovely Linda and OFF friends,

This morning I started off good.

Breakfast:  Greek yogurt and black coffee.  I'm drinking water too, and on my second bottle.

I felt like a FAT FRUMP this weekend at my nephew's birthday cookout.  Everyone was so fit and my husband and I looked like Dan and Roseanne.....I NEED to work on making healthy choices.  I've allowed myself to overeat, knowing what's ahead of me, and that's flat out wrong.  I should be preparing myself and practicing good eating habits.  Today is a new day.

I sure hope the insurance company receives my paperwok this week so I can get the show on the road.....

Have a great Monday!

Hello sweet Susan,I can only top the doctor thing with this. When I was 9,I was under weight, this doctor told my mom to give me beer for an appetite. I hate beer to this day!
Enjoyed your lattes,I'm sure....smile.
I had a little popcorn so far...what ever...LOL.

Linda,

This morning I took 7 bags of fruit & veggies to Helping Hands.  The donation included cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and plumcots (a cross between plum and apricot), but we didn't include any eggplant because no one we know around here seems to like it or even have heard of it.  A volunteer, a wiry little (white) lady perhaps 10 years older than me, helped me carry the bags inside.  I said to her, "We have a lot of eggplants, too.  Do you think people would like to have some of them?" and she said, "Oh, yeah.  Them Mexicans love stuff like that."  Not exactly a politically correct statement, but it made me laugh.  Most of our Mexican population works at Tyson Foods doing poultry processing jobs that no one else wants to do.  I sure hope their lives are better here than they were in Mexico.

B: multi-grain English muffin with crab spread and tomato
S: iced skinny latte
L: chicken, tomatoes with blue cheese
S: banana with PB2 dip
D: bean & turkey sausage casserole, sliced cucumbers
S: strawberries stuffed with sweetened ricotta cheese
