LOL Jean,I lived in New Mexico for 14 years, and my SIL is of Mexican origin,I never saw a recipe for eggplant. People can not help who they are for sure...smile.
I would LOVE some eggplant,I am happy I grew up with a diversified background. I bet if you gave this to the poor folks, they would figure out a way to fix it.
You sound peppy. Let me know when you get the final say on your band situation.
Have a good one....still chuckling.

Hi everyone,  Best wishes for a bang up Monday.  My weekend was good.  Hired a man to help me with the yard work and we made great progress.  My housemate mowed the weeds that pass for a lawn.  Took my free bike to the shop for a tune up and picked up a nice free floor lamp.  Anyone who hasn't found freecycle on line should check out their local chapter.  I've given away and received some nice useful things, all at no cost except gas to pick up.  Also had time to connect with friends and hear/dance to good music.

B coffee/Kashi/yogurt
L chili con carne with baked pita chips
D BBQ pork and green beans
S SF ice cream

Snuggles, Linda

Whew! What a day so far,,almost missed the thread!
I spent a few hours at the ER with a friend who had fallen and hurt herself, shes ok,,but that took up a big part of the day.
Anyhow,,here I am` Down 4 pounds this morning,,woohoo!

Heres the plan:

B- low carb toast and peanut butter, coffee w sf creamer
S- cheese
L- catfish fillet left from yesterday.
S- cheddar cheese
D- not sure yet,,,maybe salad with grilled chicken on top.

Getting ready to go walk,,,excited about getting back into the groove.
Im not setting any unrealistic goals,,hoping to be back to my lowest weight by my 4 year anniversary on Sept 14th,,,or near there. Got 17 pounds to go,,think I can do it?? Then all my cute fall outfits and winter clothes will fit. I love ultrasuede and have lots of skirts and jackets in it.
Slowly but surely I think I can do it. if I keep posting here and keep keeping track of what goes in my mouth.

Have a great day everyone!
Betsy

Way to go Betsy! Mine isn't falling off, but the scale is slowly moving in the downward direction. So I'll just have to take it slow as long as it moves.
