hello my name is judy and i am a food addict!!! i swear if i had the chance to start this all over fresh out from WLS i would NEVER try the no-no foods again!!! seems its all i am able to eat a ton of and i do it frequently!!! BUT since i have started posting here again i am doing much better!!! THANKYOU linda for doing this for me!!!

well as you know from a couple days ago bandit is sick and he is still sick...called the vet and he was in surgery all day and i can't get him in til 3:30 today...i did get him to eat a small can of chicken and rice dog food last night. will keep you posted on how the appointment went.

ok yesterday i didn't post because of cleaning or should i say trying to clean the vomit and poop off the carpet before work...sooo this is what i had to eat yesterday...b. cereal with banana and milk, l. meatball sub with cheese and marinara sauce, s. spaghetti with meat sauce and cheese and mushrooms one slice of garlic toast. drank a ton of ice water seems i was thirsty for water yesterday...wonder why i didn't float away....lol

here is what i plan on eating today...b. egg, ham, and cheese omlet, l. cottage cheese and peaches, s. left over spaghetti and sauce. garlic toast is all gone....yippeeee!!! drinking a fuze right now and plan on more later on...tastes pretty good today.

Judy,

That's why I'm so happy that I freaking dump when I try to eat sweets.  That's one good thing that my doctor did for me.  He rerouted a little more of my small intestine than most docs do because of my weight prewls, the size that I had gotten up to before I started losing, and my blood sugars revealed my love for sweets.  So, he said it rerouted a little extra and I think that is why.  Anyway, I dump on sugar alcohols and sometimes even on splenda.  So, that was one good thing.  As far as the chips and stuff, I just don't buy them because I know that if they were here, I'd eat them and while I am trying to gain up so I can get a clearance for plastics, I want to do it healthy so that I don't create bad habits that I will just have to break in the future and I would struggle with that. 

Hope your dog gets better.  Hopefully he just has a viral infection.

i get stinky farts from sugar and sugar alchols...i only dumped a couple times early out...felt miserable after eating too much...thats all i ever had....like i said i wish i could go back to fresh out of WLS!!!

bandit had his check up and is doing better already...i posted seperate post on him...thanks!!!

My name is Bev, and I am a food addict.  I am terrible about not taking time for me!  That time should be spent on planning my meals for the day and exercising.  I cave in to all the temptations from being out and about.  I stop at Wendy's for chili.  OK, that's not bad.  But sometimes I stop for a twisted vanilla frosty with oreos that goes down oh so easy . . . smushy heaven.  Yesterday and today I'm doing the gym at work and working the treadmill.   I had blood drawn at 10:00 a.m. today so I had to fast until then.  Stopped and got a Wendy's chili on the way back to work.  Tomorrow I go to see my wls.  Another fill should help me.  I have renewed my vows to keep on track going forward.
B&L - Sm. Wendy's chili with cheese and crackers.
S - SF, FF choc. pudding
D - Hamburger
S - glass of choc. milk, 1% 

Thanks Linda for giving me the courage to admit my mistakes and get about the business of taking care of me.

Good morning Linda,  my name is Susan and I am a food addict too.

I think this is a great affirmation for us to admit daily. Thank you for thinking of it, after all, admitting you have a problem is the first step to correcting it.

Here's my day as it's shaping up so far:

3 sf, ff lattes

cottage cheese w/ NSA fruit ****ail and 1 slice of toasted double fiber bread

1/2 tuna sandwich on double fiber bread

chicken and rice casserole and green beans.

will edit to add the snacks I have as the day goes on. Might have 'em, might not. We'll see.
