Tuesday's what's new revue
good news at the dr yesterday-the aneurism is evidently buried deep within the pelvic area so the treatment will be via catheterization with a local and can be done once we get moved so there is continuity in treatment-we go back in mid sept to get a referral to a Big Island doc...and most of these aneurisms are found by accident! not treating this lightly-thanking God that it is not life threatening!
work was work and today is tuesday...nothing else new in my life...
hugs and prayers...............please add one for alexa !
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Margo..... I am glad to hear that Michael's results were better then you thought.
Pat R......you be careful at Walmart.....don't overdo...I have been praying that your hip heals and you can get around like normal once again.
I now have a senior moment going on and can't remeber who else I wanted to post to....I hate this!!!
Nothing but my job calling me today. I am going to sneak out later and go tanning. I need that for sure!!
Hope everyone has a good day. Prayers to those in need.
Love and hugs to all......connie d
Today is dietician day and I'm feeling confident that I will have a good weigh day. Also the grands will be here later so it's non stop running for the next few days.
Nine more days of summer school teaching, and it is over. Yeah. The fall semester doesn't begin until the end of August so I do get a little rest in between. I know that I have a priviledged life and getting paid so much money to do something that I really love seems unfair to me. I didn't know that work was supposed to be fun. And, it is easy to teach...well, the prep isn't so easy but basically standing in front of my students and showing them how to write is the easiest and most natural thing in the world for me. But, I still have to whine about summer school being so intense.
Well, I'm going to try to eat my egg; the banana went down well and seems to be content so here goes with the protein.
you all have a good day

I have to laugh at the names they give for the bowel prep for a colonoscopy......mine was called "go lightly".......lol! NOT
I'm off on a trip to Wal Mart in a few minutes....going to drive myself
and try to do my whole list.....hopefully it will go well.
We need rain desperately.....yesterday one of my huge tomato plants that is in a cage, fell over......OMG I was so upset. I found a big stake
in the garage and went out to put it back up and stake it.....all I have is
a small hammer, and the stake was not cooperating, after much conversation between me and the stupid stake, I finally got it in the ground......I need to get 2 more stakes -- my plants are just loaded with tomatoes. My neighbor lady said she has a big hammer so I will borrow that next time.
Good luck with your test Annette.
Glad to hear about Michael's Dr. visit, Margo.
Won't be long Jeannie and you will be able to have a few days
off from teaching.
Everyone have a pleasant day.....good wishes and thoughts to those in need.

Done! Your Ticker:
Good luck to you Annette! Hope all goes well.
Margo, sounds like we are both having the same kinda days at work...I get there and it seems like I was just there and never went home!
I am enjoying work tho...so I guess that's something.
It was so hot last night I was so tired and nauseated. Blah...we have this old Victorian house and one little window air conditioner in the dining room area which keeps the dining room and living room cooler, but only fans up in the bedrooms and another window air conditioner up in my scrapbook room (the third floor) I don't use that one unless I'm going to be up there and then I have to turn it on early to keep it below 83 so...we don't put one in the bedroom because mostly it usually cools off and night and we like the windows open with fans instead of air conditioned air, but I tell ya, this 90s heat is really the pits...I am just thankful to be 85 lbs lighter than in those past summers, I don't know how I didn't just croak before. I remember I thought I was gonna croak!
Jeannie, my husband just got a grad student job, only 80 hours a semester. It would be great if he could get a fellowship so it would take the pressure off of looking for a job. He was laid off in April from his job of 12 years. They closed the plant. There is nothing out there, but he keeps looking. At least he was able to do a few more classes this summer than he would of had he been working. Also, because he was laid off he is eligible for a program that pays for the last 16 credits of his program. He has to jump through a bunch of hoops, but it's worth it.
Well, I better jump over to what we are eating....then go run/walk the treadmill.
Take Care,
Cheryl
