No No, I don't get tired of hearing about Dillinger. I look for your updates. Love hearing about Annettes naughty cats(  laughted to tears about their escapades today, sorry Annette) Love Margo's fur and feather baby stories. Karen and all the other grandbaby stories. Everyone is so interesting. You will know when the time is right.Hope his vet appointment goes well.Blessings

Thanks kindly Jean!  I certainly appreciate yours and everyone else's prayers and support through this experience, which is my first such one as an adult with a 4-legged best friend!  and I am leaning on everyone for imput, as I truly get confused as to what to do next. . .  but the overall consensus has been, that I will know when his time comes, so off to the vet to see about getting a new supply of meds to keep him comfortable, but not ignore what needs to be done in the future.

Again, thanks for coming to offer your support!  Laureen

Jan be careful.  I know, you are probably thinking we are all way too much into your koolaide, but you don't want to get into the habit of eating glidder food. Stay away from the crackers.  And the peanut butter, well, I love it but cold not eat it until just recently because it clogged my drain.

Annette, you poor thing.  Cats can be so sweet but they can also be very demanding.

The thing that makes me happy:  My grandchildren all snuggling up next to me.  One on one side, one on the other, and one in my lap and wanting me to tell them stories about when I was a little kid.  I love it.

Today: going to teach.  I promised the grands a ride on the bus, so we are going to jump the bus and ride all over town.  Tonight, my son and his family will get here and more babies to love.

Gotta go, the food I just ate not sitting well.  I think I will get rid of it and start over.  I know.  But sometimes you just have to get it out or the pain kills us.

Oh Karen.  I love the squatting and one day when hubby and I were driving around, I pulled over and got out a squatted to **** just because I could.  Yes.  Remember the post all those years back about me not getting to pee cause I couldn't squat and there was no bathroom.  You go girl.  But, be careful, you never know who is lurking near by. LOL

You guys have a good day.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!
Jani, - Congrats on the house.  That was pretty quick, I'm so happy for you!!  I'll be putting one of mine on the market in about 2 weeks.

I'm feeling much better......not as woozy from surgery but my left hand is so swollen today (double or triple in size overnight) it doesn't even look like my hand.   I think I'm going to just have to lay down with the arms elevated most of the day.  Maybe being out yesterday for almost 7 hours was too much.  It wasn't swollen like this when I went to sleep.........maybe I had the arm in a bad position all night?? who knows..........all I know is it is nasty swollen this morning.

Nothing else knew to report........Matthew is doing a great job preparing meals.

We had a few pool companies come out to give us prices on adding a pool to the "beach house", we should have some drawings and estimates in today.  Yep we are still really seriously considering moving to the house on the water.

Hope everyone has a great day.  I'll participate more (post more) once the swelling has gone down.
Take care
TTFN
Ruth

No, it wasn't fast.  It's been on the market for about 510 days.  We just started getting interest in it again.
It is what it is.

Hi Annette,
It's "normal" swelling after the procedure.  To get the hands to go down I just have to lay down and keep the arms elevated.  The left hand has gone down some already this morning....the arm swelling isn't too bad and should go down in about 4-6 weeks.
Thanks for being concerned!!
