Today, I'm teaching, then taking the kids, my grands, to the park. Most of what I will do will revolve around them for the next day or two. Now, when my son gets here, that's a different matter because he and his wife can take the bigger kids places. Maybe we can go to the water park.
As far as today, the park, where I will chase Baby Girl all over the place, then home for naps, then fill the little wading pool in the back yard and I'll read while they waste water, and back in for dinner and then a little craft project we are doing, then a little tv, a bath, then bed. Oh, yes, bed. I cannot wait. HEHE.

I forgot. Good news from the dietician. I am moving on up and out of the danger zone. I hit the big 102. YEAH.

It hit 105 here in Chehalis, WA yesterday and is supposed to be hotter today. I came over here to get away from the heat of my corner of the state which is desert. . . and it's worse here because of the humidity!
So, after the babies went to daycare I headed to the Long Beach Peninsula about 2 hours from here. Much more to my liking for a summer rental and rented a really nice family unit in Ocean Park for the last weekend in August. Fun little town, lots of touristy things including a carousel which I hope to get the twins on!
Today Erin is in Seattle for work so I'm in charge. I have clothes laid out, breakfast planned and had a pretty good night's sleep for me. It will be busy getting two changed, dressed, fed and out the door to daycare without any mishaps~ Then I'll come home and make pillowcases from matching cribsheets. The girls love pillows all of a sudden. Doing a couple of other "chores" for Erin. The fridge needs to be emptied out and cleaned. Much easier to do when the babies are out of the house.
Tomorrow I head home. This week has gone so fast, but I've stayed very busy. Plan to leave early, beat the heat, and stop in Yakima for an hour or so to see my college roommate. Haven't seen her in a year or so.
Mike and Nathan will be back from Montana today. Kristin, Nate's girlfriend, will arrive tomorrow for a class she's taking so Maggie and I will go from one busy house to another. That's ok I love having the house full. It's sometimes way too quiet.
I really should try to snooze a bit more before the tornadoes start stirring. Have a good day everyone.

Well I have been awake on and off all night, neighbor's dog barking was one reason...
Today is our 9th anniversary. We are going to a movie after work. We were going to go on a picnic but it is just to damn hot! Pardon my french. So we thought an air-conditioned movie might be nice. Probably will go to the Harry Potter one. Then maybe out for dinner.
Congrats to Jan and Millie on the grand-babies. I hope I get one or two someday.

I asked what they found. She asked "don't you remember talking to Dr. West?" Nope, sure don't.
She said he couldn't get very far into the colon because it was too loopy. Ha - I didn't need to drink the nasty Mediprep to know that. Great, it is official, I am loopy.
Next step is to call him for a follow up appointment.

I'm sore and swollen but ok.
Both hands are swollen but the left one is ridiculous.....twice the size of the right. Typing is difficult with these sausage fingers so I'll just say hello and hope to catch up with you guys later tonight or tomorrow.
I'm off to the surgeon for my follow up visit (2 hr drive each way!). He's gonna get an ear full from me today. I won't be rude but I will be stern.
