OT: another RANT about the neighbor
this guy is a real piece of work...
so-michael is outside burning papers - (we pay for our garbage hauling and are allowed only so much each week) --i'm lying down with the dogs and cat and we hear the volunteer fire alarm...i always say "dear God, someone needs help" -- ( Trinity used to be petrified by the alarm--) imagine my surprise when i hear men's voices outside my bedroom window-
seems someone anonymously called the fire dept about michael burning rubber tires...(wtf???) --now this guy has had issues with the fire dept before -and he has learned not to say who he is...so we only presume it is him but noone else would call in such a lame thing... (and carla-m moved the fire ring to the whole other side of the yard about a week ago!!! and hasn't built any pyres!!!!!!)
they (fire dept) had also called for sheriff cuz they thought it was burnie-when they found it wasn't him but michael instead they cancelled the sheriff...
they were only doing their job but we had 11 guys and two trucks in our yard...i feel badly about the volunteer time and the money to run the truck and etc etc...but they all know how he (neighbor) is....
arrrrggggghhhhhhh
this is three episodes within one month......and there is nothing that A) we have done wrong B) we can do to stop it

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Our neighbor is a jerk too. He is the neighborhood complainer and reports people whose lawns are not mowed or those who don't keep the limbs picked up and all of that. He is also mean to his wife and I have seen that first hand. Just think, soon you will be rid of him and he won't even be a memory for you.
see the prob here isn't that he has valid complaints-he does it to try to make us look bad and so that the world doesn't realize what a jerk he is...he has a record and he drinks and he has weapons in the house (ok-allegedly-that covers my butt!)
when he was burning tires more than a few years' back the sheriff's wouldn't go inside his house --everyone knows what he is like but no one can -or will- do anything about him---we had a tuff time getting the restarining order two years back..but we did!!!!!!!!!!!!
