Okay, so I am still grading papers, but am almost finished.  Yeah.  I ate toast and an egg for breakfast, but had to let it go because I was getting sick, so in a minute, I will try something else.  Here is the really sick thing, I carry plastic bags in my purse for easy access, meaning, when I need to throw up, I can do it while driving. I know, that's sick.  But, I refuse to pull over to throw up.  So, as you may guess, I keep them near my computer too.

S:  watermelon with salt

S: cheese

L: minute steaks and green beans

S: apple and peanut butter

S: lunch meat and cheese

D: hot dogs.  I know, pretty gross but the kids love them, they are easy, and I can serve them with out a mess.

S: melon or bananas.  Which ever the kids leave in the floor.  Okay, I won't eat off the floor, I promise.

Good morning everybody!  Anthony Bourdain and Alton Brown are my chef son's favorites.  I love Hell's Kitchen, along with several other cooking/food oriented shows.  My food obsession didn't go away, it took on another form.  I missed Hell's Kitchen Tuesday night thinking it came on at 8.  Luckily GIII taped it and dropped the tape off last night for me to watch.  Still with the headache and sore throat today.  Yesterday I sprayed my throat several times and felt like eating something other than soup for lunch.  Bought a chef's salad from the cafeteria and managed to eat only a few bites.  Having leftover salad and a bit of soup for lunch today.

B - protein shake
S - protein shake
L - salad and soup
S - banana and peanut butter
D - roast, broccoli, maybe some taters
S - cottage cheese and a plum

Debbie, I swear by crushed ice with salt sprinkled on it for a very sore throat. I think it does the "saline thing" that our bodies need. Like sal****er helps to heal and animals licking wounds. Try it; it really works for me. Can't stand to drink sal****er but these ice chips really go down easy and really help.

Karen, thanks for the tip.  I've never heard that one.  Two of my grandpa's favorite health tips, gargle with warm sal****er, and take a good dose of milk of magnesia!

We love chef Ramsey,I watch it religiously. He has some cooking shows on utube,Olivia watched him making din sum.
As a family,we have decided once a month to make something from another country. I want to do East Indian, and Thai.
I hope you recover soon.
