Wow Boo! You can lift your leg up high enough to kick your butt?? I am impressed!
Well, there is some sun and the weekend is here,so maybe you will pep up! If you had to take your fibro meds, remember they are downers, baby, and it sounds as though you are mad at yourself, forgive yourself as fast as you forgive others.
Please take care of yourself, and remember how many people love you!
Also you are  !!!

Hi Linda   -  I see my wls surgeon in two weeks and will be given a surgery date not long after that, so I think that it's time to start being accountable for the food going in my mouth.   I hope that posting what I'm eating will encourage me to eat better than I have.
Very, very bad day for food yesterday - I don't know why!

B. black tea
S. black tea, water
L. black tea, water
S. bagel with butter, blueberry fritter doughnut, shredded cheese, cauliflower (raw), tea
D. black tea, water
S. Most of a 1.5 litre container of Moose Tracks ice cream, two pieces of chocolate/hazelnut cake
     black tea, water

UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have done better lately, and I hope to go back to doing better soon.   I think that I will start to plan what I'm eating, and post it, as I realize that that will be part of the key to success for me.

Who the hell in their right mind would eat what I did yesterday?  I am disgusted with myself, but I am going to try my best to let it go and start over today.

Blessed are the weak for they shall become stronger with help from their wls friends!

Dreamer, you are so sweet, and most of us have eaten like you,and I have done much worse. Now,as far as being sane, many of us have accepted that we may not be....
You are brave, and yes,we are here for you! You landed in the right place.
Making a plan is a great thing, and owning up to your actions make you a winner. You may want to accept that you are not perfect,   and I do hope you don't dent your head, you may not remember what you ate if you do that!

Umm, who said any of us were in our right minds??  I think there is some short circuting in us.  A pint of Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream used to be dinner for me if DH was working late. Followed by half a bag of Dorrito's.  A friend of mine used to take a 1/2 box of Sugar Frosted Flakes and mix it into a VERY large bowl of vanilla ice cream.

Honey, if our heads worked properly we probably wouldn't need WLS!

Thanks Susan.  It's so difficult to understand how I can go for days eating like a "normal" human being and then, suddenly, I go berserk.
A number of years ago, I realized that I had no control over my eating habits and had to admit this to myself, when prior to this time, I had always felt that i could handle my eating and would do so with the next diet that I was about to  start  -  not sure if that is clear or not.
However, I was never able to take control of my need to binge and eat the wrong foods in portions that were anything but moderate.  I am afraid that I will not succeed at the wls surgery that will come up in the next few months.  The only thing that gives me any confidence is coming to this site and knowing that others who were in my shoes are successful, albeit not without work.
Thanks,again.  Margaret

Hi everybody! Im a bit late this morning,,but better late than never, right??

Yesterday was a busy day. I went to my new doc,,oh my,,he looked and acted like my grandson Tyler! Now that was disconcerting! He knew his stuff tho,,and I was impressed. He diagnosed my rotator cuff injury,,,,groan,,,,that the last doc said was "probably a strained muscle!" he also started me on blood pressure meds,,when the last doc said,,"lets keep an eye on it",,,for three years! I gave him all the blood tests I needed,,and he got em all done. Im supposed to hear by Monday the results. He scheduled a bone density test too. So. Im relieved. I was also 3 pounds down from last week too,,woohoo!

Now on to the food for the day:

B- 2 slices low carb toast w peanut butter, coffee w ff creamer
S- cheese
L- tomatoe and cottage cheese
S- protein shake
D- not sure yet...maybe chicken.
S- prot hot chocolate at bedtime.

So far, so good,,,,

Have a great day!
Betsy

Well Betsy,if my doctor looked like a family member,I guess I would be OK as long as he was not my gynecologist!!
He sounds like he is on the ball!
Congrats on your weight loss! See how you got back in the grove??
You are a strong woman!

Good Morning! Yesterday's food:

Protein shake and supplements

On the road: McDonalds breakfast burrito and  coffee

Snack: beef jerky

Lunch: Taco Bell double decker (Shared with Maggie)

Ice tea with my college roommate on the way home. Hadn't seen her in a year and we just live 90 miles away from each other.

Dinner: Nate and Kristin made beef fajitas. Steamed fresh green beans.

Snack: fresh watermelon and cantaloupe.

3am: peanut butter.

Headed back to the gym this morning. Nate's girlfriend is here for a class so I'm hauling her to the gym with me on a "visitor's" pass. She's a sweetheart and I'm enjoying getting to know her.

The heat followed me back home. Supposed to be 105 today and all weekend. However, our air conditioning works great so I'll be inside in the afternoon.

Have a good one everyone.
