Who me? A TV star?
I must apologize for being missing in action all week but it's been a crazy one. I had my 2 year "surgiversary" yesterday and on Wednesday I had my appointment with my doctor. Anyway, I've lost 100% of my excess body weight and have reached both his and my goals. Woohoo...but it just gets better from there...
The very next day I received a call saying that the Dallas NBC NEWS station wants to do a feature story on the importance of psychological testing prior to WLS and they asked to interview ME. It will feature my doctor, the psychologist he referrs to and me. They specifically asked for a patient that had a failed lapband and went on to have a revision and was successful. Well out of the 100's of revision patients my doctor has done, he chose me. So I will be filming on Tuesday but don't know when it will air. I imagine they will take 30 minutes of footage and I'll get 14 seconds of air time but who cares, I am so happy to have this opportunity. I will keep you guys posted on how it goes.
Now I'm off to read all the weeks worth of posts I've missed...

The TV interview is awesome--this gives you a chance to help others thinking about WLS.
You are an inspiration--
Let us all know when it is aired and if it can be accessed on line through the Dallas NBC station.
