OT: Dillinger Update
i am so happy that you and the vet could talk about this...and i ask you to hug him for me! you both continue to be in my prayers....i've been blessed with some wonderful furbabies and i know the heartache of losing them.
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Laureen, I am so happy on hearing the news of Dillinger. He is so special to you and to us too. He loves his mommy and the love and care that you are giving to him is helping him to hang on as long as he is. I understand what you are saying about the borrowed time...I think most of us have had furbabies that have lived on borrowed time.
You are both so blessed to have each other...and my prayers are being said for you both. Please give our big guy hugs from his Auntie Bren. And big hugs to you too, sweet Laureen, not only because you need them right about now but because you are Laureen....

Aloha dear Laureen........How precious is this time you have with your wonderful friend, Dillinger. Your love shines through your words and there is nothing as special as that kind of pure love. I always flash back on my dear "Lady" ...the collie I grew up with. She was wherever I was, except when I was in school.....but she was waiting by the tree for the school bus in the afternoon. Then I would ride my horse Smokey and Lady would race alongside. When my dad said it was time to put her to sleep, I thought I would die myself. But I was selfish because she was almost blind, deaf and in pain. I've never had another dog.....I don't think I could go through that again.
Enjoy your time with your sweet friend.
Aloha nui loa,
Maui Karen
