Happy Saturday friends!!  111 today,it's gonna cool down any day now,I am enjoying my evening walks and hope I can continue them very soon after knee replacement surgery.
Today I ate: Egg salad rolled in Romaine Lettuce,small slice of left over garlic bread with 2 pieces of provolone melted,tuna salad on crisp bread,only 20 calories,and very low carb! More tuna salad,romaine,and a whole sliced tomato,cold s/f peaches.raw broccoli and raw baby carrots,low fat ranch.

do u have a date for the knee surgery yet??  im sure you will do well with
it, if you have questions please message me, cause ive been there and
done that.

i slept in today, so im just having coffee here at 8:30 and no clue what today
will bring.

my son is visiting, he is going car shopping with dad, so maybe one meal out later

ive had a decent week, but still dealing with demons.  i went to the gym yesterday
and hope to walk today and tomorrow

will post more on food later

Dear Jacki,you are so sweet and brave,you had both done at once. I have almost no help.and am already sleeping on good air mattress in living room,drag my butt upstairs for showers.
I will ask baby. How wonderful to have a visit from son!! You will win the fight,I can tell by your shoulders that you are built small,the smaller you get,the harder to lose.
Stay the course,strong and steady,treat yourself to wonderful veggies,and humus and such if you like it. I am happy to have the benefit of you guys on this thread,there are foods I honestly forget about,LOL. My deal with myself is to not put anything in my body that does not benefit me,of course occasionally I have a small slice of cake or such. I will not live in a secondary self imposed prison.

Food prep questions here. Zucchinis are getting huge around here. Kristin and Nate brought two big ones. I warned them to catch them smaller or they will soon be surrounded by them everywhere! So I have a couple of recipes to try. One is for a zucchini pie using Bisquick, eggs, onions and of course zucchini. It calls for 4 cups of quartered and chopped zucchini. Do I remove the seeds and peeling? It doesn't say. For the lasagna do I slice lengthwise; also do I remove seeds? Help??

If seeds are soft they are OK,I usually get the smaller ones so I do not have to remove seeds,but big ones,maybe.
I do not remove peels either.

I am so busy.  I have all five of my grandkis here and my son and his wife, so I'm way too busy.

L: chicken

S: fruit

D: steak

S: if I don't fall asleep, I'll eat some cheese and lunch meat

Good morning to you, our little Linda! How is your Saturday shaping up today? I am hoping that mine is a good one...and it should be since it is my favorite day of the week. I love Saturday since when it rolls around I have 2 days with my hubby bubby....and when Sunday comes I only have that day...mind games but they work so hey why not? ha ha

Food didn't go well yesterday. In fact it was really rather a disaster if you ask me.

B: nothing
L: nothing
D: some ham and veggies
S: nothing

I ate dinner and felt so full...but then just started with dry heaves..I am thinking it was caused from the antibiotic. I have been on them for so long that I am thinking that they are bothering little Harpo...and we know that sometimes they can rebel something terrible.

I will work on doing better today. I have adjusted how I am taking them. I am suppose to take 3 a day but I had 3 left so my sister and I suggested I take one in the morning and see how it goes. I will take the one tonight and then the last one in the morning.

I gotta go...love and hugs to you and prayers for you and yours.

Good saturday morning everyone!! I just harvested some more zucchin,,put up four bags in the freezer, and made two loaves of bread. Lots more comin on,,,so Ill have plenty for winter!

got a miserable summer cold,,,YUK!

heres the plan for the day,,didnt start off the best,,but Ill be careful the rest of the day!

B- Protein bar and coffee
S- 1 slice zucchin bread
D- Cottage cheese and tomatoes
S- cheese and a couple ritz crackers
D- chicken salad

Water, tea and coffee,,and maybe 1 diet coke while Im yard saling,,,
