That pen is absolutely beautiful, Marc! I enjoy looking at woodwork. Some members of my family make furniture and cabinets. Beautiful work.

A puppy does what a puppy is supposed to do. She is teething and needs something to chew on. If you leave your shoes where she can get them, well... Not only is the leather good for teething (in her mind), but the shoes smell like you!! Yeah, I know ewwwwwww! However, she loves the smell and the connection.
Give the puppy lots of toys, make sure that anything important to you is up and out of reach, find some dog toys that can be put in the freezer because the cold will help to numb her gums AND give her lots of attention, play and love. A tired puppy is a good puppy!
My father always told me that the first rule of dog ownership is...
the owner has to be smarter than the dog. LOL - just kidding
