writing, you might like this book I got fropm the library.  "I'm Sorry You Feel that Way" by Diana Joseph.  The subtitle is "the astonishing but true story of a daughter, sister, **** wife, mother, and friend to man and dog.

It is a collection of essays/short stories very much in the same vein as Jeannie's writing.
