Top of the morning to you, our sweet girl! I hope that your day is as great as you are. You are just a fantastic person. Make sure you don't forget that!

Food yesterday was alright...I got 3 meals in so that is a plus.

B: sf oatmeal with pat of ICBINB
L: chicken and some potato
D: half a tuna salad sandwich on ww bread
S: nothing

That is my story and I am sticking to it! ha ha

Nothing much going on here besides 2 doctor appointments. The I.D. doctor this morning and then a few hours later back to Merrillville and to the pcp. I had to make it there to see the pcp because otherwise it threw off my next appointment and then all things were going to be screwed up...and I can't tolerate that at all. Just my own personal problem though....I have a lot of strange things about me but I am the first to admit it! I may be strange about some things but I sure am lovable! I always tell my older sister (there is only the 2 of us) that I am the baby and she has to love me. She just rolls her eyes...but then thinking about it she does that with a lot of things I say...hmmmm...should I be concerned there? ha ha

Have a great day and remember that tomorrow is Hump Day and so that is 2nd best to Friday! I am sending love and hugs to you and prayers are being said for you and yours. Know that I love you and you hold a special spot in my heart...you are a wonderful, kind, loving and compassionate person! Don't forget that...ever! Now I am off my soap box...hope I don't fall off before I can step down. ha ha   Don't forget to scatter....we gather while we scatter in our lives.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Hi baby,I am not writing much, but I wanted to say your message touched my heart.
I do not expect to see my grandchildren again, they are Olivia's weapon. They are in God's hands, but I did get to tell them that no matter what happens, remember I love them.
Take care dear Connie.

Hey all y'all,
Good day yesterday but I find myself grazing more now that I'm home more.  Need to focus on healthy grazing and getting more exercise.  Today I will continue spreading the wood chips before it gets too hot.  Then back to organizing, storing and tossing the clutter indoors.  I'm motivated to clean because Steve is coming for dinner this weekend.
Today is the day I should hear that the City of Carmel will accept the retirement compromise.  I'll be glad when that is set in stone and you can be sure I will get it in writing.
Yesterday I ate coffee, Kashi, yogurt, leftover baked chicken, half an ear of corn, some cottage cheese with pineapple, a few tortilla chips, more chicken and watermelon, a few crackers with spicy eggplant dip, a little plum pie that Diana made and the last of the goodbye cake.  That is a lot and I'm glad the cake is now gone.  I'll do  better today.
Onward and upward, CV Linda

Eating is about the same for me.  Oatmeal, chili, meat veggies then some snacks.  Snacking after dinner has to get under control.   If I'm not careful dinner lasts from 6:00 til bedtime.  Got to get back in the sewing room to keep the fingers busy.

I'm going to get a mini menu done up to get me back on track and start getting my excess weight off.  I'm on the list of people for panni removal; I may be able to get it done earlier than the end of the year since I can take a cancellation.

Today is overcast and much cooler.  The heat felt good for a while and I'm glad for the cool down but going from too hot to too cold so quickly is an adjustment too...  My gawd, what a thing to complain about.... lol

A real complaint...... we live on the bottom floor of a two story apt / home complex.  Our yard is landscaped and we set out pots of flowers for decorations.... typical "ole ladies".  We have neighbors upstairs that don't seem to realize that everything that drops from the balcony goes into the garden area just outside our front door.   Yes, we have mentioned it to them.  Even went so far as to complain to management (nicely of course).  Still we find paper plates, parts of kids toys, coke cans, and cigarette butts.  Aaaarrrggghhh   The kids are at an age that they could pick up after the drops.  If its a toy they want they will come down t get it.  If its tra**** sits until we or the maintenance people come by to pick it up.  I thought of picking it up and dumping it back on their doorstep but the neighbor across from them said it would just sit there and he didn't want his area trashy.  we get along well with them except the trash and noise level.

Well, enough from this end of the plot.......

Hi, Linda,

Another glorious (though hot) sunny day here.  Yesterday's food was just right, and today's is good so far.  Knowing me, that could change at any minute, but I will commit to the following plan for today:

B: multi-grain English muffin with crab spread
S: iced skinny latte
L: Turkish chicken, summer squash salad
S: apple with chocolate PB2 dip
D: salmon "burger", eggplant & feta salad
S: strawberries stuffed with sweetened ricotta
