What we are eating, and whats eating us,Tuesday!
I buy the iced lattes at a local coffee shop (kind of Starbucks knock-off). Sometimes I make them at home but they never taste as good. You combine equal parts skim milk with cold, strong coffee with ice cubes and any flavoring or sweetener you like. My favorite additions are SF caramel syrup and 2 packets of Splenda, but I've also tried vanilla, cinnamon, and hazlenut syrup. Our Wal-Mart sells flavored syrups in the coffee section, but doesn't carry many SF flavors, so I buy them online at www.davincigourmet.com. You can also find them at www.lollicupstore.com.
If you like coffee, you might want to try Click Espresso protein powder (www.drinkclick.com). It's really strong but makes an awesome protein shake mixed with vanilla protein powder and skim milk (1 scoop Click Espresso, 1 scoop vanilla).
