Question about Magic Bullet or other similar device

Hey there everyone,

For those who use the Magic Bullet do you like it and how often do you use it?

What other similar device do you have that you would recommend?

I ordered a Wolfgang Puck Food Processor, used the thing 3 times and it broke.  Snipped off the cord and sent it to the warranty division so they could replace it, and they never received it.  Unfortunately, I did not follow the directions and send a return receipt confirmation.  So, after months of arguing with them on the phone, I sent the remaining parts to HSN along with a letter and kindly they gave me an HSN credit.

Long story short - lol - sorry for rambling, I'm wondering if I should purchase another brand food processor or the Magic Bullet in preparation for my RNY.  Any input would be welcome.  I don't have much experience with using these types of devices, so any suggestions would be very helpful.  Would a plain old blender suffice?

Happy Hump Day!

Hi there,

I only had a blender at the beginning and later got a Magic Bullet. I love it and wished I would have had it from the start. It is so much faster and an easier clean-up. I really love the bullet.

Hi Debbie,

I had a Magic Bullet long before my surgery, and was so glad I had it for my post op days. I still use it and would buy another if this one ever pooped out.

I have yet to own a bullet, but I do own one of those little blenders and it works really well.  I also use the hand held boat motor thing and it works too; however, I think the bullet is the best.

I also have the Magic Bullet and I love it.  I used it alot in the beginning andstill use it to make protein smoothies.  It has been well worth its price.

Thanks so much to everyone who answered.  Sounds like the Magic Bullet is the way to go!  I want to go into surgery as prepared as I can be.  This definitely sounds like something that will get its use!

Thanks again for answering.  Have a great day everyone!

Yes, that's definitely on my list now that I've read all the great reviews here.  They wanted $65 for my preop supplements and people at the support group last night told me that the supplement I already have and like is sufficient.  So, I won't feel so bad treating myself to the Magic Bullet - lol -

Jan, I hope you are feeling really great!  How much weight have you lost??  I can't wait to hear your results, and I can't wait to be on the Loser's Bench with all you losers - LOL
