What's new revue for Thursday
Hi Margo and my OFF family:
Big news at work yesterday: they have taken away our job security pledge ... that was the wording that said they wouldn't lay anyone off. Good and bad there; in six months there could be layoffs (bad); but they are trying like hell to keep the paper a 7-day-a week paper (good), unlike our eastern brethren in Saginaw-Bay City-Flint that went to 3-day-a-week to skirt the job pledge. My boss says he thinks it's not going to affect me because they need the news side. Well, I just have to make myself invaluable, do as much as I can.
George, my White Sox are trying to help your Rangers as much as we can ... they beat the Angels twice, so I'm happy.
Well, I need to get going. It's payday, that means it's shopping day. I've got to get out and shop. See ya later.

Ok another battle with Verizon.....My new phone that came yesterday wont shut off call after your are done with the call!!!!!
I called and *****ed. They are sending me a blackberry curve!!!!!!! I told them if they didnt change me from the palm to something else I was going to walk!!!!!!
