to my shame

 I'm stunned.... absolutely stunned ! !   I have no words to convey the sickness I feel in my heart.

 Just remember we are here for you and although we don't chat pm or phone I do send prayers up for you.  You are a very dear person to us and thi****s us hard too.

We will wrap loving thoughts around Olivia too and of course the grands.  Kids are so innocent and at the mercy of adults.  We never realize until too late the hurt we inflict on them... heavy sigh.

linda, I too have problems with my grandchildren. My son and his wife always use my grands to manipulate my husband and me.  They lost their jobs and said they will live under a bush with my grand babies if we didnt take them in. At the time the kids were 3mo and 2 years old. we took them in because we knew they would do it. My sons and my dl have made our lives hell for 10 years now. My son was arrested for drugs and went to jail for 6 mo. My dinlaw left him and took the kids to live with her boyfriend who beat her and abused the grands. I didnt know where they were and we were heartsick. My husband had a bleeding ulcer over this and needed 4 pints of blood and was in the hospital for 3 days..      To make a long story shorter, family services finally took my grands away from her and we have them with us until the court decides to return them or let us adopt them  we are in our late 50's and this is very hard but the worry is harder. I struggle with guilt over my sons and wh y they are like they are. some days I can say, we did our best with them and they make their own choices as adults. other days i think i messed up my sons and I will mess up my grands too if we get them permanently. my sons are addicted to meth and have stolen anything of value from us. we had too lock the cabinets and fridge so they wont come in and steal food from the kids. we cant get a restraining order on them because they have never phyically hurt us, and just making our lives hell isnt enough. My thoughts are with you linda and i am sorry you and the grands have to go through this. I pray for your grands and god will send a posse of angels to watch your babies...much love sending to you.....sue

Dear Linda,
I am so sorry to hear what you are dealing with.  It is very sad that your daughter will not take care of herself, even sadder what she is doing to her own children and you.
Don't feel shame for her actions towards you.  Focus on making sure you and your grandbabies are safe!    My guess is that your grandchildren already know how much you love them and they are old enough to realize how good they had it with you.  I won't be surprised if one day you tell us that child protective services take the children and you get custody.

You don't deserve this.  My heart and mind are with you.   Olivia is running on empty and you only had the best interests of your family at heart.  
We cannot control others but we can control our reactions.  Wish her well, know that this temporary absence of family is orchestrated by a higher power and trust that good will prevail.
Lean on us as long as necessary.  You are intelligent, strong and righteous, my friend.  This too shall pass.

Linda, this breaks my heart to read this. You are such a good person.  I have been dealing with daughter issues as well.  I have custody of one of my granddaugter's and my daughter  has since disappeared.  So sad for the children.

Oh dear Linda...
that is so terrible for you.  No shame for you and only sorrow and kind thoughts.
Olivia obviously is in need of a lot of help.  I pray she will get some soon.
