I am stuffing my face
Hey, calm down cowgirl. I do eat my protein and all of my other food and consider the watermelon extra. What is IRL? My eating problems stem not from me not wanting to eat but ulcers and I don't say an ucler, I say ulcers in my pouch, my small intesting and in my other part of my stomach that gets no use. So, me choosing to eat wrong is not even part of the deal. And, again, I ate all of my protein and all of the food that my nut had me to eat and the watermelon is extra; extra calories, extra liquid, and a little extra nice treat with food. BTW, watermelon and cheese are about the only two foods that do not hurt my ulcers. So there! And you, you, you go get some watermelon and make it one from Arkansas so you can why we folks down here go so nuts over them.

I'm going to be a spoilsport too. Watermelon is nothing but sugared water. It's very high in sugar. One very small serving has over 6 grams of sugar. It also has almost 8 carbs in a very small serving. Not the best choice at all. I'm not supposed to have more than 7 grams of sugar for an entire meal. If you are on your third BOWL, I shudder to think how much sugar and carbs you've eaten. I agree with the other poster that said to step away from the watermelon. It's actually a terrible choice post WLS. I also agree that it's so important to change those binging habits. 10 watermelon balls (and they are small remember) are 7.6 grams of sugar and 9.2 grams of carbs.
Actually, for me to be eating all of this extra calories is good. I am trying to gain some of the weight that I've lost. I am on a high calorie diet and am having trouble getting in all of my calories so the watermelon helped. If I were still trying to lose or on maintance, I would never over eat like this, but the nutritionist has me getting extra calories any place where I can. So, yeah, for me it's okay.
