Good evening Linda and friends,

Got back from Spokane about 6pm yesterday and am just now finding time to post. We left home Thursday morning and had a great visit with Mike's cousins.

Cruised on Lake Coeur d'Alene, then had a catered dinner at the rented house ACROSS the street from the lake with a private beach! Mike's cousins (3 grown with spouses and children) rented the house for the week they've been up there. Wow! It was once part of the officer's housing for a fort that was there in the late 1800s. Had a great time visiting and eating.

Friday the service didn't start til 11am so I got a nice long walk in along the Spokane River. Since I'm a bit geographically challenged when I'm anywhere with lots of tress I definitely took the long way before finding my way back to the hotel. That was good. I'm sure I walked 4 miles.

After the graveside service we had lunch at Anthony's overlooking Spokane Falls. I slept all the way home!

Food, do I have to mention food?

Thursday: shake and supplements

Lunch: junior whooper at Burger King

Snack: yogurt

Dinner: pizza, salad, fettucini alfredo (just a bite so rich!**** cream sundae. Again made a big one, had two bites, let Mike fini**** off.

Friday: breakfast at the hotel, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit.

Lunch: 1/2 shrimp BLT and a cup of chowder

Snack: string cheese

Dinner: oatmeal after we got home

Snack: melon, string cheese

Not enough water

Two short walks with Maggie today. Got busy trying to stay ahead of the tomatoes and cucumbers. Made 3 pints of bread and butter pickles with Splenda and two quarts of tomatos. Not much to show for the mess I made in the kitchen!

I will go to the gym early tomorrow before I get started on anything else!

Yea, I'm bad!  I been working hard on repairing the house damage and babysitting the grands every other week.  I hope to not be so tired at night.
