What we are eating, and whats eating us,Sunday!

Happy Sunday!! It's a great day,Kathy called and helped me to change my pass word as my daughter had gone in and changed it,so I would not know it. The bad news is she could not get my pics back...but the good news is I found mostly all them and put them on my profile. Many are lost, but I can live with that, karma is a *****!!
Today I created a hamburger,it was called "The ***** is Back Burger"!
It was Angus beef 85% lean, red onions,a whole avocado,2 polish dill Vlasic spears,,a whole Roma tomato, romaine lettuce,3 slices of Colby jack,2 slices of double fiber bread. I had to cut it with a knife and eat it with a fork, and I still have some left. Pookie had hers plain...LOL.
I am having a chocolate pudding now,and if I stay up long enough,I will have a slice of watermelon!
Have a great day,and remember, when life gives you lemons, squeeze it in your enemy's eye and run like hell!

Oh, Sweet Linda, you're so funny. I read you last line to Gary and it made him laugh out loud, which is no easy task.

I've upped my protein and decreased the carbs a bit and it seems to be working. Tomorrow I'm checking out a gym that's nearby. It's one with 24 hr access and no long contracts, but the rate is lower if you do sign one. So, I think I'll do the month to month for 6-8 weeks and see how I like it.

Yesterday:

latte x2
bkfst burrito

kashi red curry chicken

less than 1/2 turkey, 2% swiss, bacon panini, 2 tbs pasta salad w/ LF dressing

watermelon ( from Hope AR, the watermelon capitol of the world)

Today:

lattes x 2

bkfst burrito

L-  not sure

Afternoon.....going to a baby shower (yippe, dippy do) so who knows what will be there.

Dinner:  Stirfry; shrimp, scallops, broccoli, snow peas, brown rice.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day that's better than yesterday!

Susan

Giggle Susan, glad I gave Gary a laugh! I love baby showers! One day I will be back in the world!
Your dinner sounds scrumptious. Cutting the carbs is so the way to go. I know watermelon is high in sugar, fruit sugar, but a high carb non the less. I am still eating mine though...LOL!
Enjoy the gym,but try not to over do,if you do,then you will not want to go back!
Have a great day,sweet lady.

It's the end of the semester rush to get everything done.  I'm hoping that I will have next week semi free to do fun things like peruse the posts on the board and do some internet friend bonding.  Hope all is well with you.

Lovely Linda,

LOL - you are too funny!  What a giggle I got out of your post - lol - I needed it too because I'm feeling kind of icky.  Small fever last night, chills, achy all over, headache.  ICK!  I woke up feeling kind of funky, but feel a little better after a couple of hours.  I want my pillow and blanket, but it will have to wait until I finish working.

Breakfast:  Bariatric Advantage, vanilla flavored, mixed with two teaspoons of Folger's Instant decaf coffee.

Made it through day #1, now working on day #2 preop diet.
