morning george and all! just cannot believe that it's monday again already--weekends are simply too short!!!

woke to the fire siren at 5:11 today...always spooks me...am up early cuz michael needs to be at the hospital by 8 for his IVP...he'll drop me at work first.he did not enjoy his bowel prep.....

well i ventured out in the heat and boy was it blingy! got my few groceries and the supplement that i take for my eyes- made an appt for wednesday for a checkup ..one more thing to cross off my pre hawaii move list! probly should have gotten flea stuff for the furbabies--this is pay week so i'll pick it up then...

heard yesterday of another person who had lyme's disease and didn't know- seems she got bitten by a brown recluse and the swelling and etc just wouldn't go away...it's on the mend now....

spent a few hours uploading all of teh panama pics onto my computer and then pics of the house- so we now have a slideshow and video on the forsalebyowner site.--got michael off my back for that one!wish i had a resident photographer like susan does!!!!

i need a haircut...oh i guess i said that yesterday!!!

I am winding down packing and getting things ready to go to 'denver on Saturday. I have a 1750pm flight out of Tampa to Dallas then Denver. I arrive in Denver at 1035pm.
I have a migrain from hell today. May go to the doc to get medicine!!!!!
Tevia decided to be the house guarde last night. He was jumping all over the place. I guess he is showing he is a true 5 yr old!!!!!
Well back to bed. I need to put this headache in the dark!!!!

ya know- i wouldn't mind if you'd show up in my driveway every month to 6 weeks- a haircut and a sistah buddy is always welcome!!!hehe--of course- we are still in pack and pitch mode so you would be busy!

Another Jacaranda tree fell on our neighbors car across the street from us. He got payback!
He is the one that hitour car when he was backing out of his driveway and wouldnt fix our car!!!!!!
I wish I could come every 6 weeks. but life gets in the way.......

My friend Rox had Lyme disease and didn't know it, either ... also had low thyroid and low B12 ... triple whammy. I haven't heard from her in a while so I don't know how she's doing since she's been on her treatment (it's been three weeks or so). But she was miserable ... crabbier than usual (and she's usually crabby), tired (she's a night shift nurse), achy, couldn't even walk up stairs (and she's very active, she kayaks).

My day was peaceful, it was a jammie day. A little bit of puttering, reading, napping, talked to my daughters and siblings, good sort of day.

Mary (youngest daughter) kind of gave me the "too thin" lecture again. When I mentioned we didn't go on the dinner cruise because of the temperature, she got all worried. "You don't have any body fat Mom, that's why you are always cold .... what are you eating?"
 
Groan Food lectures bug me no end.

Time to start the work week. Have a good one.

I am with you on the being cold fro9nt. It can 100 degrees out and I have a blanket wrapped around me......

Really weird here.  Before the WLS, I was always hot, wife was always cold.  I never even wore winter coats. Used a windbreaker only if it rained. 

Now, we both have had the surgery and I wear a zip up sweat jacket at work all the time because the a/c is too cold for me.

My wife on the other hand, she keeps two fans going in the bedroom at all time.  I guess I get her hot and bothered.

Good Monday morning to you, George and my OFF family. It is the start of the work week and I have no place to go....oh well...maybe someday!

Nothing much has happened here. I think yesterday seemed to go on forever. I just didn't feel good at all for some reason. Not sure what happened but I had a lot of pain in my tummy. I go see the I.D. doctor on Tuesday morning (OH! I just realized that is tomorrow...duh!) and I will let her know. It was pain that came and went and I liked it much more when it was went rather than came. ha ha

I hate to say this but I am so glad that my great niece has gone home. But I must say that she kept Bill busy. She had him coming and going and throwing and catching the ball. They went to K Mart and got her some notebooks for school and looked around. Bill called me and told that the store was so hot he was sweating and just wanted to come home. They went to CVS a couple of times and to the playground for a bit....pretty much they were busy for the last couple of days. Heck it kept them outta my hair if you ask me. ha ha

It is 70 out now and the humidity level is 84% but it is better. He is saying that the temp is down from what it has been but that humidity level will be rising. I am so tired of this...I like it when we can open the windows and get some nice cool air off the Lake..that is my idea of a wonderful day around the neighborhood! I guess the storms are going to start sometime this morning and afternoon. I know that is just going to make it more icky if you ask me. The next week is going to be in the high 80's with probably a humidity level of a gazillion percent! That is summer in the lovely place of NW Indiana. Humid town...

I guess I will go...nothing more to chat about. I will be hanging around here today with some work to be done on the church papers that I have collected for the past several years. Oh dear...I am not going to like doing that....oh dear! I am sending love and hugs to all with prayers being said for everyone. Have a wonderful day and just think...the day after tomorrow is hump day already. Am I jumping ahead of myself? ha ha  Don't forget to scatter the happiness that you have....you do a lot of gathering when you scatter!
