What we are eating, and whats eating us,Tuesday
Well the only fish I've tried - tuna and salmon - went down like a rock. Ugh.
Tomorrow I am going to make some chicken dish with sauce - just don't know what yet.
I think I will pass on the fish for awhile. I'm not close to trying lettuce yet. It does seem odd that I can have lettuce at a month but no fruit for 4 months!

That's amazing. I had RNY on the same date as you. Just shows how different the surgeons and nutritionists are. I'm eating most things, fruit, veggies, meats...but I'm afraid to try lettuce for some reason. I've had pineapple and watermelon and grapes and cherries without any problems. I think my biggest problem is with meat, I forget to chew it enough. The zucchini, onion and mushroom stir fry is a favorite. I add a scoop of unflavored BeneProtein to it to make sure I'm getting in the protein. I guess I'm lucky with my surgeon/nut!
Happy happy happy!

I cook the stir fry and then after I put it on my plate I sprinkle the protein powder on it and stir it in. The protein powder will clump if the food is too hot when you add it.
Follow your Doctor's orders. Most everyone has a different schedule. The only thing I'm having trouble with is the waiting on the drinking, so I adopted someone elses instructions and only wait 30 minutes after I eat to drink. I have to be more careful when eating meat though and remember to chew at least 32 times each bite. I've had a couple of barf episodes after eating too fast and not chewing enough, but once I got rid of the stuff I felt fine.
